摘要：This paper presents and experimentally verifies an optimized design procedure for a CMOS low noise operational amplifier. The design procedure focuses on the noise performance, which is the key requirement for low noise operational amplifiers. Based on the noise level and other specifications such as bandwidth, signal swing, slew rate, and power consumption, the device sizes and the biasing conditions are derived. In order to verify the proposed design procedure, a three-stage operational amplifier has been designed. The device parameters obtained from the proposed design procedure closely agree with the simulated results obtained by using HSPICE.

摘要：There is a comm on sense view for atomic magnetometers that their spin-projection-noises(SPNs) are inversely proportional to (T_2)^(1/2), where (T_2)^(1/2) is the transverse relaxation time. We analyze the current atomic magnetometer types and give a counter-example of this common sense, which is the all-optical spin precession modulated threeaxis atomic magnetometer proposed by our group in 2015. Unlike the other atomic magnetometers, the SPN of this kind of atomic magnetometers is proportional to (T_2)^(1/2) due to the fact that the scale factor between P_x and B can be unrelated to the transverse relaxation time T_2. We demonstrate this irrelevance experimentally and analyze the SPN theoretically. Using short-pulse ultra-high power laser to fully polarize the atoms, the phenomenon that SPN decreases with T_2 may also be demonstrated experimentally and a new tool for researching SPN in atomic magnetometers may be realized.

摘要：Principles of design are described for the low frequency integrated operationalamplifler XD1531 with low noise. The procedures of design of both the circuit structure and the tran-sistor shape are considered. The first stage of the circuit is designed with the methods of low noise atlow frequencies. The measures which decrease noises, especially, the 1/f noise originating .from thesemiconductor surface state and defects, are used for the transistor structure design. With analysisand comparison to products here and abroad in characteristics, it is shown that XD1531 has a lowernoise index at low frequencies than others, and the effectiveness of design methods for bringing lownoises have been demonstrated.

摘要：In this paper, the design of a novel low-noise front-end readout circuit for Cadmium zinc telluride (CdZnTe) X-ray and γ-ray detectors is described. The front-end readout circuits include the charge sensitive amplifier (CSA) and the CR-RC shaper is implemented in TSMC 0.35 μm mixed-signal CMOS technology. The die size of the prototype chip is 4.9 mm × 2.2 mm. The simulation results show that, the noise performance is 46 electrons + 10 electrons/pF, and power consumption is 1.65 mW per channel.

摘要：The DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting—Terrestrial) standard is being deployed in many parts of the world for digital broadcasting services, providing a variety of features extending the capabilities of the older analog ones. In this paper, a two-stage low noise amplifier (LNA) is designed for use with the DVB-T standard. The design is employed based on microstrip. The microwave design meets all the specifications required, achieving input and output return loss below ?10 dB, high gain of 35 dB and high linearity. Low noise figure of 1.3 dB is achieved with the use of pHEMT transistor technology.

This paper examines to design a new estimation technique of recursive least-squares (RLS) Wiener fixed-point smoother and filter for colored observation noise in linear discrete-time wide-sense stationary stochastic systems. The observation y(k) is given as the sum of the signal z(k)=Hx(k) and the colored observation noise vc(k). The RLS Wiener estimators explicitly require the following information: 1) the system matrix for the state vector x(k);2) the observation matrix H;3) the variance of the state vector x(k);4) the system matrix for the colored observation noise vc(k);5) the variance of the colored observation noise;6) the input noise variance in the state equation for the colored observation noise.

摘要：In this paper, the design of a 9.1 GHz Low noise Amplifier (LNA) of a RADAR receiver that is used in the Navy is presented. For the design of the LNA, we used GaAs Field-Effect Transistors (FETs) from Agilent ADS component library. In order to keep the cost of the circuit in low prices and the performance high, we design a two-stage LNA.
