摘要：Basing on the transformation optics, we propose a kind of transformation method of compressing or stretching. With the method, we propose a design of transparent radome for different structures. The electromagnetic (EM) waves inside or outside the radome can transmit through the structure without any reflection. Numerical simulations confirm the function of the radome structures.

摘要：在不确定性数据聚类算法的研究中,普遍需要假设不确定性数据服从某种分布,继而获得表示不确定性数据的概率密度函数或概率分布函数,然而这种假设很难保证与实际应用系统中的不确定性数据分布一致。现有的基于密度的算法对初始参数敏感,在对密度不均匀的不确定性数据聚类时,无法发现任意密度的类簇。鉴于这些不足,提出基于区间数的不确定性数据对象排序识别聚类结构算法(UD-optics)。该算法利用区间数理论,结合不确定性数据的相关统计信息来更加合理地表示不确定性数据,提出了低计算复杂度的区间核心距离与区间可达距离的概念与计算方法,将其用于度量不确定性数据间的相似度,拓展类簇与对象排序识别聚类结构。该算法可很好地发现任意密度的类簇。实验结果表明,UD-optics算法具有较高的聚类精度和较低的复杂度。

摘要：An output coupler for optically pumped terahertz laser consisting of capacitive strip-grating and wedged high- resistivity silicon substrate is designed theoretically and its transmittance performance is also discussed. The etalon effects frequently occurring in previous experiments are effectively suppressed, and thus a fiat and accurate transmittance spectrum is obtained in a narrow wavenumber interval of 2 cm^-1 near a particular center wavenumber. Furthermore the transmittance sensitivity to the slight shift of substrate thickness is also completely eliminated. The wedged output coupler is easy to fabricate and its substrate may be used repeatedly to meet various transmittance requirements.

摘要：A type of multi-core Er-doped photosensitive silica optical fiber （MC-EDPF） is proposed and fabricated, in which a high consistency Er-doped core is surrounded by six high consistency Ge-doped cores. The multi-core design can overcome the difficulties encountered in the design and fabrication of single-core EDPFs through a modified chemical vapor deposition method combined with solution doping technology, and there is a conflict between high consistency Er doping and high consistency Ce doping. The absorption of MC-EDPFs achieved 15.876dB/m at 1550mm and lOdB/m at 98Ohm. The refleetivity of the fiber Bragg gratings （FBCs） written directly on the MC-EDPFs is as much as 96.84%.

摘要：A polarizing beam splitter （PBS） design based on a fused-silica lamellar subwavelength transmission grating is demonstrated with the modal method, where TE- and TM-polarized waves are mainly diffracted in the -1st and 0th orders, respectively. The physical explanation of the grating diffraction is illustrated by the interference of the corresponding parts of the two propagating modes, which is very similar to a Mach-Zehnder interferometer. It is shown that diffraction efficients over 99% for a TM-polarized wave in the -1st order and 90% for a TE-polarized wave in the 0th order are obtained at the wavelength of 1.053 μm. The polarization transmission extinction ratios are better than 33 dB and 51 dB for the order 0th and the -1st order, respectively. The splitting properties of the PBS grating designed by the modal method are in good agreement with the results simulated by the rigorous coupled wave analysis method.

摘要：A proton therapy facility based on a linac injector and a slow cycling synchrotron is proposed. To achieve effective treatment of cancer, a scanning gantry is required. The flexible transmission of beam and high beam position accuracy are the most basic requirements for a gantry. The designed gantry optics and scanning system are presented. Great efforts are put into studying the sensitivity of the beam position in the isocenter to the element misalignments. It shows that quadrupole shift makes the largest contribution and special attention should be paid to it.

摘要：A new mode is designed with an emittance of 2.47 nm-rad at 3.0 GeV beam energy, lower than the nominal mode of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility （SSRF） storage ring. Details of the linear optics design and the nonlinear optimization are presented in this paper. During Phase I commissioning of the storage ring we tested the new optics mode and some expected results were obtained. After restoring the linear optics by means of the linear optics with closed orbit technique, the main parameters of the real machine agree well with the designed values and the injection efficiency and beam lifetime are acceptable.

摘要：We present a design of double cladding nearly zero dispersion flattened nonlinear photonic crystal fiber （PCF） with the core consisting of seven missing holes. The dispersion of the designed PCF fluctuates from -0.28 to 0.29 ps·km^-1·nm^-1 in the range of 1.35-1.795μm and the dispersion slope is -0.0038 ps·km^-1·nm^-2at 1.55μm. Due to its small air-hole to air-hole pitch in the inner cladding, the effective mode area is 6.48μm2 and the effective nonlinearity V is as high as 13.78 W^-1 km^-1 at 1.55μm. Two layers of air-hole rings in the outer cladding ensures the loss of the fundamental mode to be 2.9 dB/km at 1.55μm and two more air-hole rings can further reduce the fundamental mode＇s loss to the level of 4.2 ×10^-3 dB/km.
