摘要：In physical model tests for highly reflective structures, one often encounters a problem of multiple reflections between the reflective structures and the wavemaker. Absorbing wavemakers can cancel the re-reflective waves by adjusting the paddle motion. In this paper, we propose a method to design the controller of the 2-D absorbing wavemaker system in the wave flume. Based on the first-order wavemaker theory, a frequency domain absorption transfer function is derived. Its time realization can be obtained by de- signing an infinite impulse response （IIR） digital filter, which is expected to approximate the absorption transfer function in the least- squares sense. A commonly used approach to determine the parameters of the IIR filter is applying the Taylor expansion to linearize the filter formulation and solving the linear least-squares problem. However, the result is not optimal because the linearization cha- nges the original objective function. To improve the approximation performance, we propose an iterative reweighted least-squares （IRLS） algorithm and demonstrate that with the filters designed by this algorithm, the approximation errors can be reduced. Physical experiments are carried out with the designed controller. The results show that the system performs well for both regular and irregu- lar waves.

摘要：Axial piston pumps have been widely used in aircraft hydraulic systems to supply the system with pressurized fluid. The continuous improvement of the aircraft performance has put forward the demand on aviation piston pumps for high power density, safety, and reliability. The lubricating interfaces in axial piston machines are the key design issue that greatly determines the pump performance and service life. The cylinder block/valve plate interface is one of these critical lubricating interfaces and has received considerable attention from many researchers in the last half century. This study aims to review the state-of-the-art literature on the cylinder block/valve plate interface comprehensively and systematically. First, we introduce various theoretical models developed to investigate the lubrication behaviors of the interface and compare them in terms of their assumptions and limitations. Second, the experimental studies on the cylinder block/valve plate interface are presented comprehensively, where the involved test rigs are divided into three types according to their fidelity levels and measurement functionality. Third, we summarize some typical approaches of structure optimization, surface shaping, and surface strengthening, which help improve the load-carrying and anti-wear capacities of the interface under severe operating conditions. Finally, the challenges and future trends of the cylinder block/valve plate interface research are discussed briefly.

摘要：Chemical batch processes have become significant in chemical manufacturing. In these processes, large numbers of chemical products are produced to satisfy human demands in daily life. Recently, economy globalization has resulted, in growing worldwide competitions in *** chemical .process industry. In order to keep competitive in the global marketplace, each company must optimize its production management and set up a reactive system for market fluctuation. Scheduling is the core of production management in chemical processes. The goal of this paper is to review the recent developments in this challenging area. Classifications of batch scheduling problems and optimization methods are introduced. A comparison of six typical models is shown in a general benchmark example from the literature. Finally, challenges and applications in future research are discussed.
