摘要：Complex coupling problems have been existing in electromechanical systems. According to the principles of fractal geometry, an electromechanical system was to be resolved into some simple subsystems that can be easily described and solved. Pattern recognition theory was applied to recognize the most probable solution space. Multipletarget decision method was used to synthesize the fractal solutions of a system. A kind of fractalconcurrentsynthetic design strategy, and some decoupling optimum techniques were suggested in the article.

摘要：The finite element analysis and the optimum design of aluminum profile extrusion mould were investigated using the ANSYS software and its parameterized modeling method. The optimum dimensions of the mould were obtained. It is found that the stress distribution is very uneven, and the stress convergence is rather severe in the bridge of the aluminum profile extrusion mould. The optimum height of the mould is 70.527 mm, and the optimum radius of dividing holes are 70.182 mm and 80.663 mm. Increasing the height of the mould in the range of 61.282 mm to 70.422 mm can prolong its longevity, but when the height is over 70.422 mm, its longevity reduces.

摘要：This paper proposes a procedure for the optimum design of composite laminates with initial imperfection under probabilistic considerations. The initial imperfection, strength parameters and ply-level thickness are considered as random variables. Ply-level failure probability is evaluated by the first order reliability method and system reliability is computed based on the first-ply failure criterion. The optimum design is formulated to consider the laminate thickness as the objective function and reliability requirement as the constraint. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the methodology proposed.

摘要：Solar collectors can provide clean, renewable, and domestic energy. The tilt angle and horizontal direction of solar collectors significantly affect its efficiency. There are many good methods to search the optimum tilt angle and horizontal direction to realize the maximum total radiation on the solar collector within a particular day or a specific period. However, it is hard to realize it when solar collectors are placed under obstacle’s shadows;especially when some obstacles, such as trees, have irregular shapes. This paper presents algorithms to achieve the best tilt angle and horizontal direction for solar collector’s performance under the free-form surfaces 3D obstacle’s shadow. The solution process is composed of 4 steps. First, it creates a 3D scene, in which a unique color is given to the solar collector. Second, it employs orthographic projection from the point of view to get an image of the scene. Third, the number of pixels is used to represent the efficiency of the solar collector by counting the pixels of the unique color. Fourth, the efficiency of solar collector in each direction in a period of time is calculated with many images to further select the best direction.

摘要：文中通过对射流发电机工作原理、结构特点及作用荷载的分析，建立了射流发电机机械振动系统的动力优化设计数学模型，以结构尺寸为设计变量，使结构重量极小化，满足动力位移、应力响应、基频以及尺寸限等约束条件，利用振型迭加法和复合形法求解。优化和试验结果表明：经优化后，既减轻结构重量，又显著地提高了射流发电机的输出功率。

摘要：The optimal acousto-optic interaction length in Raman-Nath diffraction is investigated by using deliberately designed apparatus working with pure water. Then the optimum interaction length, the suitable dimensions of the transducer, and the required index difference dominated by the ultrasonic frequency and power for achieving the ultimate efficiency are analyzed. The portable device analogy to the solid appliance is designed based on the optimization. Taking advantage of the device the highest diffraction efficiency of more than 98% is obtained. The feasibility of using the portable device to act as a Q-switch for ultraviolet and visible lasers is discussed.

摘要：This paper describes the robust optimum design which combines the geometrical optimization method proposed by Hashimoto and statistical method. Recently, 2.5″ hard disk drives (HDDs) are widely used for mobile devices such as laptops, video cameras and car navigation systems. In mobile applications, high durability towards external vibrations and shocks are essentials to the bearings of HDD spindle motor. In addition, the bearing characteristics are influenced by manufacturing error because of small size of the bearings of HDD. In this paper, the geometrical optimization is carried out to maximize the bearing stiffness using sequential quadratic programming to improve vibration characteristics. Additionally, the bearing stiffness is analyzed considering dimensional tolerance of the bearing using statistical method. The dimensional tolerance is assumed to distribute according to the Gaussian distribution, and then the bearing stiffness is estimated by combining the expectation and standard deviation. As a result, in the robust optimum design, new groove geometry of bearing can be obtained in which the bearing stiffness is four times higher than the stiffness of conventional spiral groove bearing. Moreover, the bearing has lower variability compared with the result of optimum design neglecting dimensional tolerance.
