摘要：Fibroblast is a crucial kind of cell in the construction of the tissue engineered dermal equivalent. In order to optimize the cryopreservation protocols of the tissue-engineered dermis, the characteristics of dermal fibroblast in subzero temperatures are required, which include the water permeability of the cell membrane and the apparent activation energy. Using the differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the volumetric shrinkage during freezing of human dermal fibroblast suspensions was obtained at the cooling rate of 5°C·min?1 in the presence of extracellular ice. To ensure the presence of extracellular ice, a small quantity of ice nucleation bacteria (INA bacteria), pseudomonas syringae was added in the samples. And based on the Karlsson’s model, a nonlinear-least-squares curve fitting technique was implemented to calculate the cryogenic parameters. At the reference temperature T R(=0°C), the water permeability of membrane L pg=0.578 μm·min?1·atm?1 and the apparent activation energy, E LP=308.8 kJ·mol?1. These parameters were then used to simulate water transport of fibroblast during constant cooling at rates between 0.01–50°C · min?1. The simulation results were analyzed to predict the amount of water left in the cell after dehydration and the “optimal cooling rate” for fibroblast cryopreservation. For the dermal fibroblast with DMEM solution, a cooling rate of 4.6°C · min?1 was optimal.

摘要：Modeling of seismic responses of variable permeability on the basis of the patchy-sa^ration model provides insights into the seismic characterization of fluid mobility. We linked rock-physics models in the frequency domain and seismic modeling on the basis of the propagator matrix method. For a layered patchy-saturated reservoir, the seismic responses represent a combination of factors, including impedance contrast, the effect of dispersion and attenuation within the reservoir, and the tuning and interference of reflections at the top and bottom of the reservoir. Numerical results suggest that increasing permeability significantly reduces the P-wave velocity and induces dispersion between the high- and low-frequency elastic limit. Velocity dispersion and the layered structure of a reservoir lead to complex reflection waveforms. Seismic reflections are sensitive to permeability if the impedance of the reservoir is close to that of the surroundings. For variable layer thickness, the stacked amplitudes increase with permeability for high-velocity surrounding shale, whereas the stacked amplitudes decrease with permeability for low-velocity surrounding shale.

摘要：Peptides are a class of drugs that have become increasingly important and influential for the treatment of many human diseases. Compared to traditional small molecule drugs, peptides have the potential for higher target specificity and potency, along with better safety profiles. On the other hand, the complex and fragile nature of peptides poses significant challenges for their administration. Of particular concern is that they are often unstable and can be rapidly degraded by various proteases after dosing. To address these inherent problems of peptides, many different methods have been attempted. Here, we briefly review these methods, with an emphasis on the effect of each method.

摘要：The relationship among the surface fissure ratio, moisture content, seepage coefficient and deformation modulus of field unsaturated expansive soil in Nanning, Guangxi Province, China, was obtained by a direct or indirect method. Digital images of expansive soil of the surface fissure with different moisture contents were analyzed with the binarization statistic method. In addition, the fissure fractal dimension was computed with a self-compiled program. Combined with in situ seepage and loading plate tests, the relationship among the surface fissure ratio, moisture content, seepage coefficient and deformation modulus was initially established. The surface fissure ratio and moisture content show a linear relation, ＂y=-0.019 1x＋1.028 5＂ for rufous expansive soil and ＂y=-0.07 1x＋2.610 5＂ for grey expansive soil. Soil initial seepage coefficient and surface fissure ratio show a power function relation, ＂y=1× 10^-9exp（15.472x）＂ for rufous expansive soil and ＂y=5× 10^-7exp（4.209 6x）＂ for grey expansive soil. Grey expansive soil deformation modulus and surface fissure ratio show a power fimction relation of ＂y=3.935 7exp（0.993 6x）＂. Based on the binarization and fractal dimension methods, the results show that the surface fissure statistics can depict the fissure distribution in the view of two dimensions. And the evolvement behaviors of permeability and the deformation modulus can indirectly describe the developing state of the fissure. The analysis reflects that the engineering behaviors of unsaturated expansive soil are objectively influenced by fissure.

摘要：An improved design method of pervious concrete was proposed to lower the deviation between the designed and actual porosity and maintain both mechanical property and permeability of pervious concrete. The improved design method is mainly based on the optimal volume ratio of paste to aggregate(VRPA), which was determined by testing the average thickness of cement paste coating aggregate. The performances of pervious concrete designed by the traditional method and the improved one were compared. The results show that with the increase of designed porosity, the reduction of compressive strength and flexural strength of pervious concrete designed by the improved method is significantly smaller than those designed by the traditional one. The maximum deviation between the designed and actual porosity of the pervious concrete by the improved method is only 1.54%, which is far less than 8.7% obtained by the traditional one. Micro-structural analysis shows that the porous distribution of pervious concrete designed by improved method exhibits better uniformity.

摘要：This paper presents experimental investigation for particles breakage for natural sand. The particle breakage was induced by subjecting the sample to one dimensional compression. Grain size analyses were performed before and after induced breakage. Thereafter, the sand shear strength parameters were assessed using direct shear box tests and the coefficient of permeability was assessed using constant head permeameter. Examining the obtained results revealed that the amount of breakage due to one dimensional compression was of order higher than the amount occurring during direct shear test. Peak shear strength parameters decreased with the particles breakage increasing. Moreover, dilation angle of shear strength pronouncedly decreases with the amount of particles breakage increasing. Crushing has obvious effect on the evaluated coefficient of permeability.

摘要：Authors designed an obstacle radar transceiver for ISM band. This work is focused on rectangular microstrip transceiver integrated with innovative metamaterial structure at a height of 3.276 mm from the ground plane. Two rectangular microstrip transceiver is designed for transmitting and receiving purpose. This work is mainly focused on increasing the potential parameters of rectangular microstrip transceiver. RMT along with the proposed innovative metamaterial structure is designed to resonate at 2.259 GHz. Simulation results showed that the impedance bandwidth of the RMT is improved by 575%, return loss is reduced by 391% and efficiency is improved by 28% by incorporating the proposed innovative metamaterial structure. For verifying that the proposed innovative metamaterial structure possesses negative values of permeability and Permittivity within the operating frequency range, Nicolson-Ross-Weir method (NRW) has been employed. An op-amp and comparator is used to compare the return loss of transmitting and receiving RMT. An indicator is used to indicate difference of return loss and power of transmitting and receiving rectangular microstrip transceiver. For all simulation purpose, computer simulation technology-microwave studio (CST-MWS) software has been used.
