摘要：To stay globally competitive, manufacturing companies are increasingly under pressure to bring new products and applications to market, improve existing products, and discover new technologies to produce them at a lower price. New technological findings can enable companies to overcome these challenges. In practice, technology development associated with a long time horizon is often given a lower priority compared with short-term focused product development thus being stronger restricted by everyday business. More and more companies separate their technology development department from product development to promote technological innovations. Due to this additional interface in the R＆D organization new problems arise, resulting in technologies not being implemented in products. The reasons for these problems amongst others concern wrong timing for the transfer or inadequate definition of responsibilities. In this paper of ongoing research, authors introduce a framework to design the transfer processes between technology development and product development. Although there are a number of options for designing the operative transfer, there is no regulatory framework specifying which configuration options are at this particular interface. The approach is to develop a model, which is able to design different company-specific transfer processes taking into account the object being transferred at this interface. Thus, for different objects to be transferred, different transfer processes are designed. The model＇s aim is to enable responsibility of the R＆D management to design their company-specific transfer processes to enable more technologies being implemented into products, thus giving the whole company the possibility to act more innovatively.

摘要：As a part of the behavior function extension and the humanities characteristic, product is an entity performance that integrates the technique and culture. In the article, the inherent relation between technique and culture of products is analyzed to reveal the cultural mode of product development from the view of human society development in industry design. These will not only contribute to analyze the relation between notional technique characteristics and humanity, but also help to study the products developed under the inter-relation between life and environment.

摘要：For an autonomous system to perform maintenance tasks in a networking device or a radio base station(RBS), it has to deal with a series of technological challenges ranging from identifying hardware-related problems to manipulating connectors. This paper describes the development of a robot maintenance system dedicated to detect and resolve faulty links caused by unplugged or poorly connected cables. Although the maintenance system relies on four subsystems, we significantly focus on our low-cost and efficient custom gripper solution developed to handle RJ45 Ethernet connectors. To examine our gripper, we conducted three experiments. First, a qualitative questionnaire was submitted to 30 users in the case of the teleoperated scenario of the gripper attached to a robotic arm. Similarly, we also tested the automatic operation mode. The results showed that our system is reliable and delivers a highly efficient maintenance tool in both teleoperated and autonomous operation modes. The practical experiment containing the removal or unplugging of connectors demonstrated our gripper′s ability to adequately handle these, whereas the feedback from the questionnaire pointed to a positive user experience. The automatic test assessed the gripper′s robustness against the continuous operation.

摘要：Traditional Industrial Design has been an important aspect in the New product development process within the last dec- ades. User centered design is a growing research field for product innovation which needs support from both design knowledge and research methodologies. Both TID and UCD focus on user＇s perspective when doing multi-disciplinary work. They take care of style, usability, and balancing the users need and reality. The skills from TID help design expression and realization to communicate effi- ciently with other participants by informative images and real prototypes. The methods from UCD help the idea generation and op- portunity discoveries by facilitating workshops and conducting interview with participants. TID and UCD represent different per- spectives of the subjective and the objective respectively.
