摘要：We demonstrate the use of photonic crystal fiber (PCF) joined in between two single mode fibers (SMF) as a concentration sensor. To realize this, one micrometer length PCF of hexagonal lattice is sandwiched between two SMF having one micrometer length each. To maximize the coupling between SMF and PCF, the core diameters are made equal. Then the output from a given input through this structure is analyzed with respect to different concentrations in the air holes of PCF using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method. It is found that the variation of electric field intensity at the output is linear with respect to concentration of alcohol.

摘要：Wireless sensor Network provides a potential technique for monitoring the indoor environment. This paper presents a Building Monitoring system based on Wireless sensor Networks. A clustering-based network specified for building monitoring is proposed, which is inspired by LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Cluster Hierarchy) method. Further, two key ideas are used to implement the clustering-based network. First, the configuration module of building management software is used to conduct all nodes in a room forming a local cluster. This cluster formation method does not consume node energy. Second, because cluster-heads cannot directly transmit packets to the sink node due to limited wireless communication range, the cluster-head communications are represented by a multi-hop tree rooted at the sink node. The experiment has been made to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed results.

摘要：This paper presents a new wireless system for the measurement of CO2 gas concentration for indoor and outdoor purposes based on low cost Non Dispersive Infrared sensors. The system has been implemented on a printed circuit board in order to obtain different aspects of the air pollution. Some experiments were achieved to evaluate the total system combined with an android application on a smartphone. Different tests were realized in a closed room nearly filled with students and also directly while driving on the road. Good results were obtained allowing a future use for air pollution mapping using numerous amounts of sensors inside vehicles.

摘要：Protecting networks against different types of attacks is one of most important posed issue into the network and information security domains. This problem on Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs), in attention to their special properties, has more importance. Now, there are some of proposed solutions to protect Wireless sensor Networks (WSNs) against different types of intrusions;but no one of them has a comprehensive view to this problem and they are usually designed in single-purpose;but, the proposed design in this paper has been a comprehensive view to this issue by presenting a complete architecture of Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The main contribution of this architecture is its modularity and flexibility;i.e. it is designed and applicable, in four steps on intrusion detection process, consistent to the application domain and its required security level. Focus of this paper is on the heterogeneous WSNs and network-based IDS, by designing and deploying the Wireless sensor Network wide level Intrusion Detection System (WSNIDS) on the base station (sink). Finally, this paper has been designed a questionnaire to verify its idea, by using the acquired results from analyzing the questionnaires.

摘要：We report a high-performance active image sensor pixel design by utilizing amorphous-indium-gallium-zinc-oxide(aIGZO) thin-film transistors(TFTs) with a circular structure. The TFT, configured with the inner electrode as source and outer electrode as drain, typically exhibits good saturation electrical characteristics, where the device has a constant drive current despite variations in drain voltage. Due to the very high output resistance exhibited by this asymmetric TFT structure with a circular shape, the pixel circuit considered here in common-drain configuration provides a higher gain of operation than a pixel circuit implemented with rectangular a-IGZO TFTs. They can be used as driving TFTs in active image sensor circuits. They are, therefore,good candidates for digital X-ray detectors in applications such as medical diagnostic procedures.

摘要：A glass based slab waveguide, coated with a thin patterned high dielectric overlay, is configured into a refractive index sensor. The asymmetric nature of the waveguide configuration is exploited by keeping the mode in the slab waveguide while enhancing the field level in the overlay-superstrate. The sensor's response is examined using the FDTD simulation technique. A sensitivity of up to one part in 105 in the index of refraction discrimination is determined. The nature of the sensor ensures optical fibre compatibility, requires sub-μL sample volumes and provides a high resolution.

摘要：In order to reach the objective of intelligence and energy saving for university classroom lighting, energy saving lighting control system in university classroom based on wireless sensor network is designed, including design of sensor node and sink, as well as corresponding development of control program and upper-computer software. The system sets single-chip Ameg16 as control center, realizes communication between nodes via nRF24L01 wireless transceiver module, and realizes communication between sink and upper computer via w5100 wireless internet module. It perceives illumination intensity via photoconductor, detects the human body position via infrared pyroelectric sensor, and places the sensor node on the lamp, so the light can be controlled according to position of human body and current illumination intensity, which can realize energy saving to a large extent on condition that lighting requirement is satisfied. The system has low cost, and there is no need to change the original lighting circuit. The light can be turned off by hand, and when multi-media are used for the class, light can keep off even it is dim. In addition, this system has the function of automatic fault report, which is convenient for property maintenance.

摘要：In this work we propose an orthogonal pulse waveform for wireless ultra wideband (UWB) transmission. The design is based on an ideal low-pass prototype filter having a windowed sinc impulse response. The frequency response of the prototype filter is transferred to the high frequency region using a specific sign modulator. The UWB pulse waveform comprises of the weighted summation of the left singular vectors of the impulse response matrix. The power spectral density of the pulse waveform fulfils the FCC constraint (allowed frequency band 3.1-10.6 GHz) for unlicensed UWB transmission. Applications of the UWB pulse waveform in multi-channel wireless sensor networks are considered.

摘要：sensor Web是NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory(JPL)的Kevin Delin首先提出并将其定义为被部署用来监控和探测新环境,内部能够相互通信的分布式传感器组成的网络系统。自OGC提出sensor Web的相关标准以来,传感器监测服务SOS就是最基本最核心的服务规范。文章首先对SWE的传感器观测服务SOS核心操作进行介绍,然后设计了传感器观测服务SOS架构,并对每层作了说明,利用Java、Tomcat等技术对SOS的架构进行部署和测试。利用所部署的SOS架构中的核心操作可获取实时或历史的观测数据。
