摘要：In order to assist the design of short interfering ribonucleic acids （siRNA）, 573 non-redundant siRNAs were collected from published literatures and the relationship between siRNAs sequences and RNA interference （RNAi） effect is analyzed by a support vector machine （SVM） based algorithm relied on a basebase correlation （BBC） feature. The results show that the proposed algorithm has the highest area under curve （AUC） value （0. 73） of the receive operating characteristic （ROC） curve and the greatest r value （0. 43） of the Pearson＇s correlation coefficient. This indicates that the proposed algorithm is better than the published algorithms on the collected datasets and that more attention should be paid to the base-base correlation information in future siRNA design.

摘要：In ultrasonic extraction technology, optimization of technical parameters often considers extraction medium only, without including ultrasonic parameters. This paper focuses on controlling the ultrasonic extraction process of puerarin, investigating the influence of ultrasonic parameters on extraction rate, and empirically analyzing the main components of Pueraria, i.e., isoflavone compounds. A method is presented combining orthogonal experi- mental design with a support vector machine and a predictive model is established for optimization of technical parameters. From the analysis with the predictive model, appropriate process parameters are achieved for higher extraction rate. With these parameters in the ultrasonic extraction of puerarin, the experimental result is satisfactory. This method is of significance to the study of extracfing root-stock plant medicines.

摘要：The sea surface temperature （SST） has substantial impacts on the climate; however, due to its highly nonlinear nature, evidently non-periodic and strongly stochastic properties, it is rather difficult to predict SST. Here, the authors combine the complementary ensemble empirical mode decomposition （CEEMD） and support vector machine （SVM） methods to predict SST. Extensive tests from several different aspects are presented to validate the effectiveness of the CEEMD-SVM method. The results suggest that the new method works well in forecasting Northeast Pacific SST at a 12-month lead time, with an average absolute error of approximately 0.3℃ and a correlation coefficient of 0.85. Moreover, no spring predictability barrier is observed in our experiments.

摘要：support vector machines（SVM） received wide attention for its excellent ability to learn, it has been applied in many fields. A review of the application of SVM in weld defect detection and recognition of X-ray image is been presented. We will show some commonly used methods of weld defect detection and recognition using SVM, and the advantages and disadvantages of each method will be discussed. SVM appears to be promising in weld defect detection and recognition, but future research is needed before it fully mature in this filed.

摘要：A thrust estimator with high precision and excellent real-time performance is needed to mitigate perfor- mance deterioration for future aero-engines. A weight least squares support vector regression is proposed using a novel weighting strategy. Then a thrust estimator based on the proposed regression is designed for the perfor- mance deterioration. Compared with the existing weighting strategy, the novel one not only satisfies the require- ment of precision but also enhances the real-time performance. Finally, numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed weighted least squares support vector regression for thrust estimator. 摘要：Two new binary near-azeotropic mixtures named M1 and M2 were developed as the refrigerants of the high-temperature heat pump(HTHP).The experimental research was used to analyze and compare the performance of M1 and M2-based in the HTHP in different running *** results demonstrated the feasibility and reliability of M1 and M2 as new high-temperature ***,the exploration and analyses of the support vector machine(SVM)and back propagation(BP)neural network models were made to find a practical way to predict the performance of HTHP *** results showed that SVM-Linear,SVM-RBF and BP models shared the similar ability to predict the heat capacity and power input with high ***-RBF demonstrated better stability for coefficient of performance ***,the proposed SVM model was used to assess the potential of the M1 and *** results indicated that the HTHP system using M1 could produce heat at the temperature of 130°C with good performance.

摘要：To make the modulation classification system more suitable for signals in a wide range of signal to noise ratios （SNRs）, a novel adaptive modulation classification scheme is presented in this paper. Differ-ent from traditional schemes, the proposed scheme employs a new SNR estimation algorithm for small samples before modulation classification, which makes the modulation classifier work adaptively according to estimated SNRs. Furthermore, it uses three efficient features and support vector machines （SVM） in modulation classification. Computer simulation shows that the scheme can adaptively classify ten digital modulation types （i.e. 2ASK, 4ASK, 2FSK, 4FSK, 2PSK, 4PSK, 16QAM, TFM, π/4QPSK and OQPSK） at SNRS ranging from 0dB to 25dB and success rates are over 95% when SNR is not lower than 3dB. Accuracy, efficiency and simplicity of the proposed scheme are obviously improved, which make it more adaptive to engineering applications.

摘要：In order to effectively detect malicious phishing behaviors, a phishing detection method based on the uniform resource locator （URL） features is proposed. First, the method compares the phishing URLs with legal ones to extract the features of phishing URLs. Then a machine learning algorithm is applied to obtain the URL classification model from the sample data set training. In order to adapt to the change of a phishing URL, the classification model should be constantly updated according to the new samples. So, an incremental learning algorithm based on the feedback of the original sample data set is designed. The experiments verify that the combination of the URL features extracted in this paper and the support vector machine （SVM） classification algorithm can achieve a high phishing detection accuracy, and the incremental learning algorithm is also effective.
