摘要：In view of the poor water supply system’s network properties, the system’s complicated network hydraulic equations were replaced by macroscopic nodal pressure model and the model of relationship between supply flow and water source head. By using pump-station pressure head and initial tank water levels as decision variables, the model of optimal allocation of water supply between pump-sources was developed. Genetic algorithm was introduced to deal with the model of optimal allocation of water supply. Methods for handling each constraint condition were put forward, and overcome the shortcoming such as premature convergence of genetic algorithm; a solving method was brought forward in which genetic algorithm was combined with simulated annealing technology and self-adaptive crossover and mutation probabilities were adopted. An application example showed the feasibility of this algorithm.

摘要：In this paper,we report on the identification and modeling of unknown and higher order processes into first order plus dead time(FOPDT)plants based on the limit cycle information obtained from a single relay feedback test with an online fractional order proportional integral(FOPI)*** parameters of the test processes are accurately determined by the state space method while the FOPI controller settings are re-tuned to achieve enhanced performance based on the identified model parameters based on the balancedtuning method.A new performance index,integral time fractional order absolute error(ITFIAE)is introduced in this paper for balanced tuning of fractional order(FO)*** requires minimum design specifications without a-priori knowledge of gain and phase crossover frequencies and is done non-iteratively without disrupting the closed *** test processes and experimental analysis on a coupled tank system(CTS)validate the theory proposed.

摘要：In the event of an instantaneous valve closure, the pressure transmitted to a surge tank induces the mass fluctuations that can cause high amplitude of water-level fluctuation in the surge tank for a reasonable cross-sectional area. The height of the surge tank is then designed using this high water level mark generated by the completely closed penstock valve. Using a conical surge tank with a non-constant cross-sectional area can resolve the problems of space and height. When addressing issues in designing open surge tanks, key parameters are usually calculated by using complex equations, which may become cumbersome when multiple iterations are required. A more effective alternative in obtaining these values is the use of simple charts. Firstly, this paper presents and describes the equations used to design open conical surge tanks. Secondly, it introduces user-friendly charts that can be used in the design of cylindrical and conical open surge tanks. The contribution can be a benefit for practicing engineers in this field. A case study is also presented to illustrate the use of these design charts. The case study’s results show that key parameters obtained via successive approximation method required 26 iterations or complex calculations, whereas these values can be obtained by simple reading of the proposed chart. The use of charts to help surge tanks designing, in the case of preliminary designs, can save time and increase design efficiency, while reducing calculation errors.

摘要：The demand for natural gas in the world is increasing day by day. The efficient and flexible LNG becomes the preferred method for natural gas storage and transportation and has gradually entered people’s daily life. The enclosure system is the key core of LNG transport and storage vessels for storage of LNG at -163°C for isolation and thermal insulation. A new type of flat half-film prismatic LNG enclosure system has been developed for the shortcomings of the existing LNG cargo enclosure system. Through the breakthrough and mastery of key core technologies such as the overall layout and integration of the system, anti-leakage technology, liquid tank fixing technology, and large-scale friction stir welding (P-FSW) flat-line pipeline development technology, we’ll strive to fill the gap in the intelligent construction technology of large aluminum alloy tanks in China. The tank was subjected to water vapor test and numerical simulation. The results show that the structural strength of the FSP-LNG tank meets the strength check standard of IGC Code.
