摘要：The epidermal growth factor （EGF） has been shown to promote the proliferation of various types of cells, to maintain the physiological function of the mucosa of the digestive tract, and to promote the healing of the gastric and duodenal ulcers. It has been expressed in many types of bacteria and yeasts. In this article, a bio-reactor was constructed, namely, the human EGF （hEGF） transgenic mini-tomato. On the basis of hEGF gene sequence, a tomato codon preference hEGF gene was chemically synthesized, and it was constructed into the plant expression vector pCAMBIA2300. The transgenic tomato plants containing gene hEGF were obtained through Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. The expression product was determined by radioimmunoassay （RIA） and showed a yield of 3.48± 1.01 ng/g fresh fruits. The intragastric gavage （ig） administration of the rhEGF-containing juice of the transgenic tomato （equivalent to 24 ng rhEGF per mouse a day） for 15 days could significantly protect mice against the alcohol-induced ulceration. The ulcer index, expressed as a degree of the stomach lesion, decreased from 42.20 ±18.13 to 16.25 ±9.57.

摘要：The present work aims to optimize the foaming conditions for tomato juice using three level Box-Behnken Experimental Design of Response surface Methodology. In the following study three process parameters namely concentration of egg albumin (EA) as foaming agent, Carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC) as foam stabilizer and whipping time (WT) was optimized. The levels for various input variables were EA: 5% - 15%, CMC: 0.10% - 0.60% & WT: 3 - 7 min. The responses measured were expansion volume (EV), foam density (FD) and drainage volume (DV) which are an indication of foaming ability and foam stability. The predicted levels of responses as generated by software were EV: 91.49%, FD: 0.558 g/cc & DV: 10 ml, which on validation was found closer to experimental value.

摘要：To investigate the impact of anaerobic soil disinfestation(ASD)treatment with different processing duration on tomato continuous cropping soil,a total of eight treatments were designed,which included two treatment temperatures of 10℃ and 30℃,and four treatment times of 3,4,5 and 7 weeks(w).The results showed that whether the temperature was 10℃ or 30℃,the pH values,TOC and available K contents in the soil treated by the ASD method were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the EC values and NO_(3)^(-)contents in soils treated by ASD were significantly reduced compared with the untreated group(P<0.05).The Fusarium oxysporum population in soils treated by ASD decreased with the extension of the treatment *** the treatment temperature was 30℃,the effect on the removal of the NO_(3)^(-)that had accumulated in soils treated by ASD was significantly better than the treatment temperature of 10℃(P<0.05).When soil was treated by ASD for more than 5 w at 30℃,the NH4+content in soil was significantly increased(P<0.05)compared with the untreated *** conclusion,NO_(3)^(-)accumulation in soils could not be completely eliminated with treatment by ASD,even when the treatment time at 10℃ was *** the treatment temperature was 10℃ or 30℃,the *** population in soils treated by ASD decreased significantly with the extension of the treatment time to more than 5 w compared with treatment only for only 3 w.

摘要：Cucumber mosaic virus is one of the most constraints to the production of tomato and other vegetable crops worldwide. Here, we generated an RNAi construct containing inverted repeat of 1138 bp fragment of a partial replicase gene of CMV-O and used it to produce transgenic tomato plants expressing CMV-specific dsRNA of the replicase gene. Inoculation of transgenic plants with CMV strain O discriminated three categories of plants: plants that showed complete resistance, which were free of symptoms;highly resistant plants, which had mild symptoms, but later recovered because new leaves that emerged were free of symptoms;and susceptible plants, which showed severe symptoms similar to wild-type plants. The completely resistant lines were selected and challenged with a closely related strain, CMV-Y. Interestingly, the transgenic plant lines either remained immune or showed high levels of resistance to the strain. No virus could be detected in uninoculated new leaves of the resistant lines after RT-PCR and Dot immunobinding assay (DIBA) analyses. We could show that the resistance is correlated with post-transcriptional gene silencing because of the production of transgenic specific siRNA.

摘要：[Objective]The aim was to explore the function of WRKY transcription factor in tomato.[Method]The primers were designed in this study according to the obtained WRKY fragments,and the total RNA from tomato treated with 100 μmol/L of JA for 6 h was used as the template for RT-PCR.[Result]The 608 bp fragment was obtained from tomato with RT-PCR *** analysis indicated that this sequence contained WRKYGQK conservative domain and the similarity with Capsicum annuum WRKY-c and Nicotiana tabacum NtWRKY-7 were 79% and 74%,respectively.[Conclusion]WRKY gene sequence in tomato was cloned successfully.

摘要：To alleviate the damage of tomato virus diseases, reduce chemical pesticide consumption and residue, and prevent environmental pollution, forecasting, randomized block design and statistical analysis were adopted to conduct field efficacy tests for Lentinan ＋ Gibberellin-heteroauxin-brassinolide （GHB） and Ningnanmycin ＋ GHB. The results showed that when the virus diseases in greenhouse tomato were serious, 0.5% Lentinan AS 3 000 ml ＋ GHB WP 600 g and 8% Ningnanmycin AS 900 ml ＋ GHB WP 600 g per hectare were applied 4 times with an interval of 7 days, and the control effects on the 10th, 17th, 26th and 35th day were above 88%, 87%, 78% and 67%, respectively. The difference in control effect of the two biological pesticides was insignificant, while their control effects were all significantly better than that of moroxydine hydrochloride （CK） ＋ GHB. The obtained results indicated that Lentinan ＋ GHB and Ningnanmycin ＋ GHB were the ideal biological pesticides, which could be used not only for controlling tomato virus diseases, but also for realizing modern, pollution-free, green and organic agricultural production.
