摘要：CRISPR-mediated genome editing has been widely applied in plants to make uncomplicated genomic modifications including gene knockout and base ***,the introduction of many genetic variants related to valuable agronomic traits requires complex and precise DNA *** CRISPR systems have been developed to achieve efficient sequence insertion and replacement but with limited success.A recent study has significantly improved NHEJ-and HDR-mediated sequence insertion and replacement using chemically modified donor *** with other newly developed precise editing systems,such as prime editing and CRISPR-associated transposases,these technologies will provide new avenues to further the plant genome editing field.

摘要：Given a set of requirements structured as design problems, we can apply design patterns to solve each problem individually. Much of the published literature on design patterns addresses this problem—pattern association;however, there is no systematic and practical way that shows how to integrate those individual solutions together. We propose a compositional model based on design patterns by abstracting their behavioral model using role modeling constructs. This approach describes how to transform a design pattern into a role model that can be used to assemble a software application. The role model captures the behavioral relationship between participant components in the design pattern. Our approach offers a complete practical design and implementation strategies, adapted from DCI (Data, Context, and Interaction) architecture. We demonstrate our technique by presenting a simple case study complete with design and implementation code. We also present a simple to follow process that provides guidelines of what to do and how to do it.

摘要：Systematic characterization of available crop varieties using morphological traits is needed to fuel breeders＇ efforts in African eggplant. Twenty-eight accessions of African eggplant from three species of Solanum aethiopicum （16）, Solanum macrocarpon （9） and Solanum anguivi （3） were characterized using standard morphological descriptors. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design （RCBD） with three replications. The results indicated distinct and wide variations between the three Solanum species studied. There were however a lot of similarities between the S. aethiopicum and S. anguivi lines. This suggests the two materials being closer to each other than they are to the S. macrocarpon.
