摘要：Native Inuit developed a complex system of shamanic-oriented thinking. They filled the frozen immensities of the Arctic with a number of omnipresent ghosts and spirits. In its shamanic-religious dimension, the Dorset art （circa 1000 B.C. to circa 1000 A.D.）, stemming from a culture moulded by shamanic practices and burial rites, kept memory of the Times of Origins, shaped a very rich symbolic universe, suggested, and outsourced the secret correspondences between the micro and macro cosmos. The present paper investigates the thigh correspondence and relationship between the Inuit-Dorset shamanic view of the world and their miniaturized art.

摘要：Sex appeal is on its way to pop up Indian advertising industry and its impact on the target audience"s perception has gained less academic attention. The question which seems to be less addressed in literature is that sex appeal will be an effective and a worthy tool of promotion in a market place, like India where stringent regulatory measures are in place and controversies and bans over such appeal in ads (advertisements) are quite common. The present study investigated the youth"s general perception towards the use of sexual appeal in advertising and its influence on effectiveness of ads. General linear model was applied to study the effect of perception on effectiveness of different sexual appeals. The results suggest that there is an influence of perception on ads effectiveness at the multivariate level.

摘要：Micro-grids comprise low voltage distribution systems with distributed energy resources(DERs) and controllable loads which can operate connected to the medium voltage grid or islanded in a controlled coordinated way. This concept aims to move from "connect and forget" philosophy towards a full integration of DERs. Micro-grids can provide numerous economic and environmental benefits for end-customers, utilities and society. However, their implementation poses great technical challenges, such as a new philosophy in design of protection systems. In this work, a micro-grid protection scheme is presented based on positive-sequence component using phasor measurement units(PMUs) and a central protection unit(CPU). The salient feature of the proposed scheme in comparison with the previous works is that it has the ability to protect both radial and looped micro-grids against different types of faults with the capability of single-phase tripping. Furthermore, since the CPU is capable of updating its pickup values(upstream and downstream equivalent positive-sequence impedances of each line) after the first change in the micro-grid configuration(such as transferring from grid-connected to islanded mode and or disconnection of a line, bus, or DER either in grid-connected mode or in islanded mode), it can protect micro-grid against subsequent faults. Finally, in order to verify the effectiveness of the suggested scheme and the CPU, several simulations have been undertaken by using DIg SILENT Power Factory and MATLAB software packages.

摘要：Three sources of uncertainty in model projections of precipitation change in China for the 21st century were separated and quantified: internal variability,inter-model variability,and scenario *** from models involved in the third phase and the fifth phase of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project(CMIP3 and CMIP5) were compared to identify improvements in the robustness of projections from the latest generation of *** significant differences were found between CMIP3 and CMIP5 in terms of future precipitation projections over China,with the two datasets both showing future *** uncertainty can be attributed firstly to internal variability,and then to both inter-model and internal *** analysis revealed that the uncertainty in CMIP5 models has increased by about 10%–60% with respect to CMIP3,despite significant improvements in the latest generation of *** increase is mainly due to the increase of internal variability in the initial decades,and then mainly due to the increase of inter-model variability thereafter,especially by the end of this *** change in scenario uncertainty shows no major role,but makes a negative contribution to begin with,and then an increase later.
