摘要：A strain-introduced Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) interleaver on lithium niobate (LiNbO3 ) is proposed. The structure of the strain-introduced waveguide is designed in detail, and is produced by depositing a SiO2 film on the annealed proton-exchanged LiNbO3 waveguide. Considering the sensitivities of the edge strain to the deposition temperature and the thickness of the SiO2 film, an optimum design of 50 GHz interleaver on this structure is given through analyzing the effective index changes for E x pq mode by finite difference method (FDM). The length of the bending waveguide in this interleaver is just two thirds of that in the conventional interleaver due to the high refractive index difference.

摘要：Most of the existing image encryption schemes with the substitutlon-chltuslon structure are not secure and efficient. In this letter, a chaos-based pseudo-random bit generator with good statistical properties is proposed, where a simple post-processing by compressing is employed. A new adaptive image encryption scheme with the substitution-diffusion architecture is designed using the new pseu- do-random bit generator. In the scheme, the session key for the pseudo-random bit generator is dependent on the content of the image which ensures that the scheme can effectively resist knownplaintext and chosen-plaintext attacks. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation indicate that the proposed algorithm is efficient and highly secure.

摘要：Opportunistic array radar （OAR） is a new generation radar system based on the stealth of the platform, which can improve the modern radar performance effectively. Designing the orthogonal code sets with low autocorrelation and cross-correlation is a key issue for OAR. This paper proposes a novel hybrid genetic algorithm （HGA） and designs the polyphase orthogonal code sets with low autocorrelation and cross-correlation properties, which can be used in the OAR system. The novel algorithm combines with simulated annealing （SA） and genetic algorithm （GA）, adds in keeping best individuals and competition in small scope, and introduces grey correlation evaluation to evaluate fitness function. These avoid the premature convergence problem existed in GA and enhance the global searching capability. At last, the genetic results are optimized to obtain the best solution by using greedy algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is effective for the design of orthogonal phase signals used in OAR systems.

摘要：In order to achieve the acoustic signal distributed acquisition of stored grain pests, a novel acoustic signal acquisition system was presented based on the wireless sensor networks. And the system architecture, hardware configuration, and software were introduced in detail. Considering bandwidth limitation of wireless sensor networks, random sampling algorithm based on the compressed sensing theory was proposed. The developed acoustic signal acquisition system was applied in sampling the crawl acoustic signal of Tribolinm castaneum Herbst adults in granary. Preliminary experimentation indicated the rationality and practicability of the developed system and the proposed algorithm. They can implement the remote, real-time, and reliable wireless transmission for the acoustic signal sampled data of multiple points stored grain pests effectively.

摘要：Today, parallel programming is dominated by message passing libraries, such as message passing interface （MPI）. This article intends to simplify parallel programming by generating parallel programs from parallelized algorithm design strategies. It uses skeletons to abstract parallelized algorithm design strategies, as well as parallel architectures. Starting from problem specification, an abstract parallel abstract programming language＋ （Apla＋） program is generated from parallelized algorithm design strategies and problem-specific function definitions. By combining with parallel architectures, implicity of parallelism inside the parallelized algorithm design strategies is exploited. With implementation and transformation, C＋＋ and parallel virtual machine （CPPVM） parallel program is finally generated. Parallelized branch and bound （B＆B） algorithm design strategy and paraUelized divide and conquer （D ＆ C） algorithm design strategy are studied in this article as examples. And it also illustrates the approach with a case study.

摘要：Isometric projection （IsoProjection） is a linear dimensionality reduction method, which explicitly takes into account the manifold structure embedded in the data. However, IsoProjection is non-orthogonal, which makes it extremely sensitive to the dimensions of reduced space and difficult to estimate the intrinsic dimensionality. The non-ortbogonality also distorts the metric structure embedded in the data. This paper proposes a new method called orthogonal isometric projection （O-IsoProjection）, which shares the same linear character as IsoProjection and overcomes the metric distortion problem of IsoProjection. Similar to IsoProjection, O-lsoProjection firstly constructs an adjacency graph which can reflect the manifold structure embedded in the data and the class relationship between the sample points of face space, and then obtains the projections by preserving such a graph structure. Different from IsoProjection, O-IsoProjection requires the basis vectors to be orthogonal, and the orthogonal basis vectors can be calculated by iterative way. Experimental results on ORL and Yale databases show that O-lsoProjection has better recognition rate for face recognition than Eigenface, Fisherface and IsoProjection.

摘要：Compared to traditional rigid robots, soft robots, primarily made of deformable, or less rigid materials, have good adaptability, conformability and safety in interacting with the environment. Although soft robots have shown great potentials for extended applications and possibilities that are impossible or difficult for rigid body robots, it is of great importance for them to have the capability of controllable stiffness modulation. Stiffness modulation allows soft robots to have reversible change between the compliant, or flexible state and the rigid state. In this paper, we summarize existing principles and methods for stiffness modulation in soft robotic development and divide them into four groups based on their working principles. Acoustic-based methods have been proposed as the potential fifth group in stiffness modulation of soft robots. Initial design proposals based on the proposed acoustic method are presented, and challenges in further development are highlighted.

摘要：A new variable step-size （VSS） affine projection algorithm （APA） （VSS-APA） was proposed for adaptive feedback cancellation suitable for hearing aids. So, a nonlinear function between step-size and estimation error is established and automatically adjusted according to the change of the estimation error, which leads to low misalignment and fast convergence speed. Analysis of the proposed algorithm offers large capacities in converging to the objective system. Simulation shows that the proposed algorithm achieves lower misalignment and faster convergence speed compared to fixed step-size APA and conventional adaptive algorithms.

摘要：This paper investigates the problem of global disturbance rejection for a class of switched nonlinear systems where the solvability of the disturbance rejection problem for subsystems is not assumed. The disturbances are assumed to be sinusoidal with completely unknown frequencies, phases and amplitudes. First, as an extension of the classic concept of internal model for non-switched systems, a switched internal model is proposed. Second, in order to solve the problem under study, an adaptive control method is established on the basis of the multiple Lyapunov functions method. Also,adaptive state-feedback controllers of subsystems are designed and incorporated with a switching law to asymptotically reject the unknown disturbances. Finally, an example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
