摘要：Using time-dependent multilevel approach （TDML）, this paper studies the dynamics of coherent control of Rydberg lithium atoms and demonstrates that Rydberg lithium atoms can be transferred to states of higher principal quantum number by exposing them to specially designed frequency-chirped laser pulses. The population transfer from n=70 to n=75 states of lithium atoms with efficiency more than 90% is achieved by means of the sequential adiabatic rapid passages. The results agree well with the experimental ones and show that the coherent control of the population transfer from the lower n to the higher n states can be accomplished by the optimization of the chirping parameters and the intensity of laser field.

摘要：Based on the full optimized molecular geometrical structures at the DFT-B3LYP/6- 311＋G^＊＊ level, there exists intramolecular hydrogen bond interaction for cyclic 2-diazo- 4,6-dinitrophenol. The assigned infrared spectrum is obtained and used to compute the thermodynamic properties. The results show that there are four main characteristic regions in the calculated IR spectra of the title compound. The detonation velocities and pressures are also evaluated by using Kamlet-Jacobs equations based on the calculated density and condensed phase heat of formation. Thermal stability and the pyrolysis mechanism of 2- diazo-4,6-dinitrophenol are investigated by calculating the bond dissociation energies at the B3LYP/6-311＋G^＊＊ level.

摘要：A new type of silica optical micro-kayak cavity fabricated on a silicon chip is designed and demonstrated. This micro-kayak cavity with two straight sides and two semi-circle sides can be used to achieve a compact and flexible arrangement in the design of integrated photonic circuits. The micro-kayak cavity can also be embedded with a Bragg reflection grating in the straight sides for frequency selection using a micro-kayak cavity laser doped with a rare-earth ion. We describe the fabrication methods for the micro-kayak cavity, obtain its spectra, and discuss its potential applications.

摘要：Physical unclonable function （PUF） makes use of the uncontrollable process variations during the production of IC to generate a unique signature for each IC. It has a wide application in security such as FPGA intellectual property （IP） protection, key generation and digital rights management. Ring oscillator （RO） PUF and Arbiter PUF are the most popular PUFs, but they are not specially designed for FPGA. RO PUF incurs high resource overhead while obtaining less challenge-response pairs, and requires ＂hard macros＂ to implement on FPGAs. The arbiter PUF brings low resource overhead, but its structure has big bias when it is mapped on FPGAs. Anderson PUF can address these weaknesses of current Arbiter and RO PUFs implemented on FPGAs. However, it cannot be directly implemented on the new generation 28 nm FPGAs. In order to address these problems, this paper designs and implements a delay-based PUF that uses two LUTs in an SLICEM to implement two 16-bit shift registers of the PUF, 2-to-1 multiplexers in the carry chain to implement the multiplexers of the PUF, and any one of the 8 flip-flops to latch 1-bit PUF signatures. The proposed delay-based PUF is completely realized on 28 nm commercial FPGAs, and the experimental results show its high uniqueness, reliability and reconfigurability. Moreover, we test the impact of aging on it, and the results show that the effect of aging on the proposed PUF is insignificant, with only 6% bit-flips. Finally, the prospects of the proposed PUF in the FPGA binding and volatile key generation are discussed.

摘要：Two-dimensional apodized grating couplers are proposed with grating grooves realized by a series of nano- rectangles, with the feasibility of digital tailoring the equivalent refractive index of each groove in order to obtain the Gaussian output diffractive mode in order to enhance the coupling efficiency to the optical fiber. According to the requirement of leakage factor distribution for a Gaussian output profile, the corresponding effective re- fractive index of the grating groove, duty cycle, and period are designed according to the equivalent medium theory. The peak coupling efficiency of 93.1% at 1550 nm and 3 dB bandwidth of 82 nm are achieved.

摘要：The thermal conduction of suspended few-layer hexagonal boron nitride （h-BN） sheets was experimentally investigated using a noncontact micro-Raman spectroscopy method. The first-order temperature coefficients for monolayer （1L）, bilayer （2L） and nine-layer （9L） h-BN sheets were measured to be -（3.41 ± 0.12）× 10-2, -（3.15 ± 0.14） × 10-2 and -（3.78 ±0.16）× 10-2 cm-1.K-1, respectively. The room-temperature thermal conductivity of few-layer h-BN sheets was found to be in the range from 227 to 280 W.m-1-K-1, which is comparable to that of bulk h-BN, indicating their potential use as important components to solve heat dissipation problems in thermal management configurations.
