摘要：The objective of this paper is to study the issue of design efficiency for minimum projection uniformity designs. The results show that for orthogonal arrays with strength two, the minimum projection uniformity criterion is a good surrogate for the design efficiency criterion proposed by Cheng, Deng and Tang （2002）.

摘要：Supersaturated designs are useful in screening experiments. This paper discusses the topic of multi-level supersaturated design. Two quantities, E(d2) and Df, are proposed to evaluate the optimality of supersaturated designs. A lower bound of E(d2) is obtained with a necessary condition for achieving it. Some E(d2)-optimal supersaturated designs of 3, 4, and 5 levels are given.

摘要：Saturated row-column designs are studied to eliminate positional effects in primary high- throughput screening experiments. Compared to designs currently used in practice, all compounds in the designs considered are comparable within each microplate in spite of the existence of row and column effects. The designs considered in this paper also have the maximum number of compounds arranged in each microplate. Two statistical methods are used to choose leading compounds in the designs considered. These two methods take full advantages of effect sparsity in primary screening. Simulation studies are carried out to compare the two statistical methods with two ad hoc methods in selecting active compounds. A method that maintains balanced false positives and false negatives is recommended.

摘要：It is presented in this paper that the new design and its analysis of finite difference domain decomposition algorithms for the two-dimensional heat equation, and the numerical results have shown the stability and accuracy of the algorithms, where SauFyev asymmetric schemes have been used at the interface points. The Algorithm II in this paper has further extended those developed by Dawson and the others, Zhang and Shen.

摘要：The preliminary design and parametric study of 1400 m partially earth-anchored cable-stayed bridge are described. Static per-formance of this new type of bridge is discussed. Compared with fully self-anchored cable-stayed bridge, its advantages in fin-ished state are summarized. Based on numerical calculation, effects of several structural parameters on static performance are presented.

摘要：A High birefringence microstructure fiber with four big elliptical air holes is investigated by using the finite-difference frequency-domain (FDFD) method. Based on the numerical simulations, the influence of the air-hole size and pitch upon the mode birefringence is analyzed. The work may be helpful for the design and fabrication of high birefringence PCFs.
