摘要：In this paper we describe how the test design can be done by using the Combinatorial Testing approach for internet of things operating systems. Contiki operating system is taken as a case study but we discuss what can be the approach for RIOT and Tiny OS operating systems. We discuss how the combinatorial coverage measurement can be gathered in addition to the traditional metrics code coverage. The test design generated by using Advanced Combinatorial Testing for Software is analyzed for Contiki operating system. We elaborate the code coverage gathering technique for Contiki simulator which happens to be in Java. We explain the usage of Combinatorial Coverage Measurement tool. Although we have explained the test design methodology for internet of things operating systems, the approach explained can be followed for other open source software.

摘要：The NoC consists of processing element (PE), network interface (NI) and router. This paper proposes a hybrid scheme for Netwok of Chip (NoC), which aims at obtaining low latency and low power consumption by concerning wired and wireless links between routers. The main objective of this paper is to reduce the latency and power consumption of the network on chip architecture using wireless link between routers. In this paper, the power consumption is reduced by designing a low power router and latency is reduced by implementing a on-chip wireless communication as express links for transferring data from one subnet routers to another subnet routers. The average packet latency and normalized power consumption of proposed hybrid NoC router are analyzed for synthetic traffic loads as shuffle traffic, bitcomp traffic, transpose traffic and bitrev traffic. The proposed hybrid NoC router reduces the normalized power over the wired NoC by 12.18% in consumer traffic, 12.80% in AutoIndust traffic and 12.5% in MPEG2 traffic. The performance is also analyzed with real time traffic environments using Network simulator 2 tool.

摘要：A critical component of the smart grid (SG) infrastructure is the embedded communications network, where an important objective of the latter is the expansion of its throughput, in conjunction with the satisfaction of specified latency and accuracy requirements. For the effective design of the communications network, the user and traffic profiles, such as known-user vs. unknown-user populations and bursty vs. non-bursty data traffics, must be carefully considered and subsequently modeled. This paper relates user and traffic models to the deployment of effective multiple access transmission algorithms in the communications network of the SG.

摘要：视频摘要是海量视频浏览的重要手段,现有的方法一般生成短帧视频或多帧序列图像以概括原视频,但它们都受限于原有时间序列,难以高效地表达信息.为此,提出了一种视频海报的自动生成方法来制作更为精练的视频摘要.如何提取视频中的关键画面与如何实现海报自动排版是其中的2个核心问题.对现有的视频关键帧提取方法进行扩展,采用综合视觉关注度模型,提出了基于视觉重要性的关键帧排序算法;在现有排版规则基础上,增加了版面位置对视觉心理感知的影响,设计出位置重要性驱动的视频海报自动排版算法.实验结果证明了文中算法的有效性.

摘要：Developing autonomous mobile robot system has been a hot topic in AI area. With recent advances in technology, autonomous robots are attracting more and more attention worldwide, and there are a lot of ongoing research and development activities in both industry and academia. In complex ground environment, obstacles positions are uncertain. Path finding for robots in such environment is very hot issues currently. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a multi-sensor based object detecting and moving autonomous robot exploration system, 4RE, with the VEX robotics design system. With the goals of object detecting and removing in complex ground environment with different obstacles, a novel object detecting and removing algorithms is proposed and implemented. Experimental results indicate that our robot system with our object detecting and removing algorithm can effectively detect the obstacles on the path and remove them in complex ground environment and avoid collision with the obstacles.

摘要：Traffic engineering and topology design considering multilayer configuration have become more important. While multilayer design studies usually discuss the traffic engineering issue or reliability, this paper focuses on network construction cost in studying multilayer topology design. The number of ports for the IP layer and the maximum number of Wavelength Division Multiplexers (WDM) for the optical layer are used as construction cost factors. Given a traffic matrix for the IP layer, 1) the number of ports is minimized to obtain a topology and a traffic matrix for the optical link, and 2) the maximum number of WDMs is minimized to configure the optical layer topology. It is shown that both the IP and Optical path layers have been given economic topologies. We present LP formulations of this scheme and the results of a simulation of the full-mesh traffic of 5 nodes, which shows that both layers are successfully optimized.

摘要：在sink移动轨迹固定的传感器网络中,由于sink点有限的通信时间和节点的随机分布,使得很难兼顾数据采集量的提高和整体能耗的降低.为了解决该问题,提出了一种最大数据量最短路径(maximum amount shortest path,简称MASP)数据采集方法.MASP对网络中成员节点与sub-sink节点之间的匹配关系进行集中式优化.采用0-1线性规划方法对MASP问题进行形式化描述,提出了一种基于二维染色体编码的遗传算法进行求解,并给出了相应的数据通信协议设计.另外,MASP可以扩展支持低密度网络和多sink点网络.基于OMNET++的仿真结果表明,MASP在能耗利用率方面要远远优于最短路径树方法(shortest path tree,简称SPT)及固定sink数据采集方法.

摘要：computer-aided Design （CAD）, video games and other computer graphic related technology evolves substantial processing to geometric elements. A novel geometric computing method is proposed with the integration of descriptive geometry, math and computer algorithm. Firstly, geometric elements in general position are transformed to a special position in new coordinate system. Then a 3D problem is projected to new coordinate planes. Finally, according to 2D/3D correspondence principle in descriptive geometry, the solution is constructed computerized drawing process with ruler and compasses. In order to make this method a regular operation, a two-level pattern is established. Basic Layer is a set algebraic packaged function including about ten Primary Geometric Functions （PGF） and one projection transformation. In Application Layer, a proper coordinate is established and a sequence of PGFs is sought for to get the final results. Examples illustrate the advantages of our method on dimension reduction, regulatory and visual computing and robustness.

摘要：For several years now, electric vehicles (EVs) have been expected to become widely available in the micro-mobility field. However, the insufficiency of such vehicles’ battery-charging and discharging performance has limited their practical use. A hybrid energy storage system, which comprises a capacitor and battery, is a promising solution to this problem;however, to apply model-based designs, which are indispensable to embedded systems, such as the electronic control units used in EVs, a simple and accurate capacitor model is required. Within this framework, a lithium-ion capacitor (LIC) model is proposed, and its charging and discharging performances are evaluated against an actual LIC. The model corresponds accurately to the actual LIC, and the results indicate that the proposed LIC model will work well when used with Model-Based Design (MBD).

摘要：This paper proposes a novel strategy based on fragment meshes of Shiue et al. for GPU rendering of compos- ite subdivision surfaces. Two enumeration systems are established to label the primitives of each fragment mesh. A sector-layer-index enumeration system is responsible for retrieving proximities for subdivision masks while a sec- tor-index enumeration system designates a 2D texture buffer in GPU. Recurring to the free conversion between them, our approach may get rid of lookup tables that are designed to record subdivision masks. In addition, relatively small composite subdivision masks make it easy to develop automatically retrieving techniques. Finally, as center vertices are often irregular, their computation is related to an average with alterable number of items. Considering that variable loop is not efficient in GPU, we evaluate the center vertex of each fragment mesh using the linear combination of its level 0, level 1 and limit positions instead of averaging schemes. Experiments demonstrate that our approach generally outper- forms that of Shiue et al. in FPS by a long way.
