摘要：A novel micromirror based on the PolyMUMPs process is designed and presented. The hexagonal micromirror with a diameter of 450 μm consists of three supporting bilayer cantilevers and a mirror plate. The bilayer cantilevers, formed with a polysilicon layer and a gold layer, elevate the mirror plate according to residual stress-induced bending. Both analytical and finite element analysis （FEA） models are built to calculate the elevated height of the free end of the cantilever. The analytical solution is in accordance with the FEA simulation results, with longitudinal stresses applied only. Results of a three-dimensional （3D） simulation with two direction stresses applied also show the elevated height to be proportional to the width of the cantilever and the length of the gold layer. Due to the torque of the joint, the elevated heights of the two kinds of cantilevers assembled with the mirror plates are much smaller than those of the free end of the cantilevers. Both micromirrors with different cantilevers are fabricated. The elevated heights of the fabricated micromirrors are measured using Veeco optical profiler, which show good coincidence with simulation results.

摘要：Real-time multi-media applications are increasingly mapped on modern embedded systems based on multiprocessor systems-on-chip （MPSoC）. Tasks of the applications need to be mapped on the MPSoC resources efficiently in order to satisity their performance constraints. Exploring all the possible mappings, i.e., tasks to resources combinations exhaustively may take days or weeks. Additionally, the exploration is performed at design-time, which cannot handle dynamism in applications and resources＇ status. A runtime mapping technique can cater for the dynamism but cannot guarantee for strict timing deadlines due to large computations involved at run-time. Thus, an approach performing feasible compute intensive exploration at design-time and using the explored results at run-time is required. This paper presents a solution in the same direction. Communicationaware design space exploration （CADSE） techniques have been proposed to explore different mapping options to be selected at run-time subject to desired performance and available MPSoC resources. Experiments show that the proposed techniques for exploration are faster over an exhaustive exploration and provides almost the same quality of results.

摘要：Today, designers are forced to reduce performance and increase power requirements in order to reserve larger margins that are required due to the greater variability introduced by smaller feature sizes and manufacturing variations of modern IC designs. The better-than-worst-case design can both address the variability problem and achieve higher performance/energy efficiency than the worst-case design. This paper surveys the progress to date, provides a snapshot of the most representative methods in this field, and discusses the future research directions of the better-than-worst-case design.

摘要：To consider multi-objective optimization problem with the number of feed array elements and sidelobe level of large antenna array, multi-objective cross entropy(CE) algorithm is proposed by combining fuzzy c-mean clustering algorithm with traditional cross entropy algorithm, and specific program flow of the algorithm is *** the algorithm, large thinned array(200 elements) given sidelobe level(-10,-19 and-30 d B) problem is solved successfully. Compared with the traditional statistical algorithms, the optimization results of the algorithm validate that the number of feed array elements reduces by 51%, 11% and 6% respectively. In addition, compared with the particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm, the number of feed array elements from the algorithm is more similar, but the algorithm is more efficient.

摘要：In this paper, an efficient technique for optimal design of digital infinite impulse response （IIR） filter with minimum passband error （ep）, minimum stopband error （es）, high stopband attenuation （As）, and also free from limit cycle effect is proposed using cuckoo search （CS） algorithm. In the proposed method, error function, which is multi-model and non-differentiable in the heuristic surface, is constructed as the mean squared difference between the designed and desired response in frequency domain, and is optimized using CS algorithm. Computational efficiency of the proposed technique for exploration in search space is examined, and during exploration, stability of filter is maintained by considering lattice representation of the denominator polynomials, which requires less computational complexity as well as it improves the exploration ability in search space for designing higher filter taps. A comparative study of the proposed method with other algorithms is made, and the obtained results show that 90% reduction in errors is achieved using the proposed method. However, computational complexity in term of CPU time is increased as compared to other existing algorithms.
