摘要：In this paper, an efficient technique for optimal design of digital infinite impulse response （IIR） filter with minimum passband error （ep）, minimum stopband error （es）, high stopband attenuation （As）, and also free from limit cycle effect is proposed using cuckoo search （CS） algorithm. In the proposed method, error function, which is multi-model and non-differentiable in the heuristic surface, is constructed as the mean squared difference between the designed and desired response in frequency domain, and is optimized using CS algorithm. Computational efficiency of the proposed technique for exploration in search space is examined, and during exploration, stability of filter is maintained by considering lattice representation of the denominator polynomials, which requires less computational complexity as well as it improves the exploration ability in search space for designing higher filter taps. A comparative study of the proposed method with other algorithms is made, and the obtained results show that 90% reduction in errors is achieved using the proposed method. However, computational complexity in term of CPU time is increased as compared to other existing algorithms.

摘要：A 10 MeV compact cyclotron (CYCHU-10) has been developing in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). The RF system includes a 10 kW RF power generator and a resonance cavity. There is no automatic frequency tuning equipment in the cavity due to space limitations, so the generator must search and track the cavity resonant frequency. AD9850 synthesizer is used to generate RF signal in the experimental prototype, and a fine sinusoidal waveform around 99 MHz is obtained with the method of picking up a special aliased signal from the synthesizer's output, and the output power level can be set by regulating the resistor connected to the Pin 'Rset'. The final stage amplifier based on tetrode operates in the grounded cathode configuration, and the schematic of the tetrode circuit is illustrated. The method of searching the resonant frequency is discussed in detail. For the sake of a compact and robust structure, the resonance cavity will adopt non-uniform characteristic impedance coaxial structure, and the magnet surface electroplated with copper will be used as dummy Dees. The precise shapes and dimensions of the cavity are designed and simulation results are carried out in this paper. The distributions of electromagnetic field are illustrated by means of numerical calculation analysis, and the wooden model test is preformed as well.

摘要：In this paper, an optimal design of linear antenna arrays having microstrip patch antenna elements has been carried out Cat swarm optimization （CSO） has been applied for the optimization of the control parameters of radiation pattern of an antenna array. The optimal radiation patterns of isotropic antenna elements are obtained by optimizing the current excitation weight of each element and the inter-element spacing. The antenna arrays of 12, 16, and 20 elements are taken as examples. The arrays are designed by using MATLAB computation and are validated through Computer Simulation Technology-Microwave Studio （CST-MWS）. From the simulation results it is evident that CSO is able to yield the optimal design of linear antenna arrays of patch antenna elements.

It helps them understand how strategic interactions impact rational decisions of individual players in competitive and uncertain environment, if each player aims to get the best payoff. This situation is ubiquitous in engineering practices. This paper streamlines the foundations of engineering game theory, which uses concepts, theories and methodologies to guide the resolution of engineering design, operation, and control problems in a more canonical and systematic way. An overview of its application in smart grid technologies and power systems related topics is presented, and intriguing research directions are also envisioned.

摘要：We propose a novel approach called the robust fractional-order proportional-integral-derivative（FOPID）controller, to stabilize a perturbed nonlinear chaotic system on one of its unstable fixed points. The stability analysis of the nonlinear chaotic system is made based on the proportional-integral-derivative actions using the bifurcation diagram. We extract an initial set of controller parameters, which are subsequently optimized using a quadratic criterion. The integral and derivative fractional orders are also identified by this quadratic criterion. By applying numerical simulations on two nonlinear systems, namely the multi-scroll Chen system and the Genesio-Tesi system,we show that the fractional PI~λD~μ controller provides the best closed-loop system performance in stabilizing the unstable fixed points, even in the presence of random perturbation.

摘要：This paper presents the design of a controller for the measurement and reduction of conducted Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) caused in the power electronic circuits. The conducted EMI is also separating the Common Mode (CM) and Differential Mode (DM) simultaneously using Line Impedance Stabilization Network (LISN). EMI is mitigated by the fuzzy controller. By comparing common mode voltage with the standard reference value, the generated error can be minimized by using fuzzy controller. Fuzzy controller is varying the PWM signal of the power electronic switching devices for reducing the electromagnetic interference. In this paper, comparison of PI and fuzzy controller of the open loop and closed loop models are implemented using MATLAB&reg SIMULINK for measurement and reduction of the EMI level;and also simulation results of the PI controller and fuzzy controller analysis are presented in this paper. The fuzzy controller is provided to achieve the EMI level of the inverter within the standard limit.
