摘要：This paper is concerned with the practical application control of a pneumatically actuated Stewart-Gough platform with 6-degrees of freedom （6-DOF）. The control approach for motion control of the platform is presented using a modern control technique, namely, linear quadratic Gaussinn （LQG） with reference tracking. The LQG controller is the combination of a Kalman filter, i.e., a linear-quadratic estimator （LQE） with a linear-quadratic regulator （LQR）. The robustness of the control scheme is accessed under various load conditions, and the experimental results are shown.

摘要：A newly developed heuristic global optimization algorithm, called gravitational search algorithm （GSA）, was introduced and applied for simultaneously coordinated designing of power system stabilizer （PSS） and thyristor controlled series capacitor （TCSC） as a damping controller in the multi-machine power system. The coordinated design problem of PSS and TCSC controllers over a wide range of loading conditions is formulated as a multi-objective optimization problem which is the aggregation of two objectives related to damping ratio and damping factor. By minimizing the objective function with oscillation, the characteristics between areas are contained and hence the interactions among the PSS and TCSC controller under transient conditions are modified. For evaluation of effectiveness and robustness of proposed controllers, the performance was tested on a weakly connected power system subjected to different disturbances, loading conditions and system parameter variations. The cigenvalues analysis and nonlinear simulation results demonstrate the high performance of proposed controllers which is able to provide efficient damping of low frequency oscillations.

摘要：The 60-GHz traveling-wave tube （TWT） prevails nowadays as the amplifier for the satellite communication and electronic countermeasures. The folded waveguide （FW） is a promising all-metal slow-wave structure （SWS） for the 60-GHz TWT with advantages of robust performance, fine heat dissipation, considerable power and bandwidth. A novel FW periodically loaded with rectangular grooves is analyzed for the purpose of gaining higher power and gain. The rf characteristics are investigated by numerical simulation, and the nonlinear large- signal performance of such a TWT is analyzed by a 3I） particle-in-cell code MAGIC. Compared with normal circuits, relatively higher continuous-wave power （40-56 W） and similar bandwidth （5 GHz） are predicted by simulation. Meanwhile, the designed operation voltage is 10.5 kV, which keeps the low-voltage advantage of the popular helix TWT competitor. The novel FW will favor the design of a broadband and high-power 60-GHz TWT

摘要：The Lt-norm method is one of the widely used matching filters for adaptive multiple subtraction. When the primaries and multiples are mixed together, the L1-norm method might damage the primaries, leading to poor lateral continuity. In this paper, we propose a constrained L1-norm method for adaptive multiple subtraction by introducing the lateral continuity constraint for the estimated primaries. We measure the lateral continuity using prediction-error filters （PEF）. We illustrate our method with the synthetic Pluto dataset. The results show that the constrained L1-norm method can simultaneously attenuate the multiples and preserve the primaries.

摘要：This paper presents a design of continuous-time sliding mode control for the higher order systems via reduced order model. It is shown that a continuous-time sliding mode control designed for the reduced order model gives similar performance for thc higher order system. The method is illustrated by numerical examples. The paper also introduces a technique for design of a sliding surface such that the system satisfies a cost-optimality condition when on the sliding surface.

摘要：In this paper, the authors present the development of a data modelling tool that visualizes the transformation process of an ＂Entity-Relationship＂ Diagram （ERD） into a relational database schema. The authors＇ focus is the design of a tool for educational purposes and its implementation on e-learning database course. The tool presents two stages of database design. The first stage is to draw ERD graphically and validate it. The drawing is done by a learner. Then at second stage, the system enables automatically transformation of ERD to relational database schema by using common rules. Thus, the learner could understand more easily how to apply the theoretical material. A detailed description of system functionalities and algorithm for the conversion are proposed. Finally, a user interface and usage aspects are exposed.
