摘要：AIM: To perform wire-guided cannulation using a newly designed J-shaped tip guidewire, and to verify feasibility and safety for use. METHODS: The study was conducted on endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) patients with na ve papilla undergoing diagnosis and treatment of biliary diseases between September 2011 and July 2012. We performed ERCP in a succession of 50 cases with a J-shaped tip guidewire. The first insertion attempt began with a trainee who had 5 min to complete cannulation, followed if necessary by the trainer for another 5 min. We assessed the primary success rate of selective biliary cannulation within 10 min and adverse events such as post-ERCP pancreatitis (PEP), bleeding or ***: The primary success rate was 90% (45/50) within 10 min, the initial success rate within 5 min by trainee staff was 76% (38/50). The rate of PEP was 6% (3/50), but all 3 cases were mild pancreatitis. All patients were managed successfully with conservative treatment. There was no bleeding or perforation. CONCLUSION: A newly designed J-shaped tip guidewire has the possibility to facilitate selective biliary cannulation for ERCP and appears to be safe.

摘要：In gamma camera and single-photon emission computerized tomography, the collimator removes most photons. Here, a gamma camera without collimator utilizes a specific arrangement of detectors. Instead of bending beams(like a lens) or directing beams(by parallel hole collimator), changes are created in detectors' field of view(FOV), so that each detector's FOV looks different from others. Simulation proved this theory, with 98 detectors(2 cm 9 1.41 cm) arranged in a zigzag manner for Monte Carlo simulation. A radioactive source with energy of140 ke V was situated on the detectors' faces. Sixty projections, each 3(0 –179) apart, were simulated by Monte Carlo N-Particle(MCNP) 4C code, rotating detectors around a radioactive point. The band containing the radioactive source is clearly visible in each *** obtained after simulation in different projections were reconstructed, and point source location emerged correctly. Simulation of gamma camera with zigzag arrangement of detectors and MCNP-4C code demonstrated that one could string the space and determine radioactive source by image reconstruction without using collimators, solely through these special detectors' distribution.

摘要：Fast electron-hole recombination issues during titanium dioxide(TiO_(2))photocatalysis limit its application in preventing bacterial infection during bone defect *** this study,TiO_(2)@reduced graphene oxide(rGO)composites were synthesized using a hydrothermal method in which rGO,which possesses very high electrical conductivity,promotes the separation of photoelectron-hole pairs of TiO_(2),thus improving the efficiency of photocatalytic production of reactive oxygen species(ROS).Subsequently,TiO_(2)@rGO composites were introduced into poly-L-lactic acid(PLLA)to prepare bone scaffolds with photocatalytic antibacterial function via selective laser *** results showed that TiO_(2)grew on the surface of rGO and formed a covalent bond connection(Ti-O-C)with rGO.A decreased electrochemical impedance of TiO_(2)@rGO composites was observed,and the transient photocurrent intensity increased from 0.05 to 0.5μA/cm^(2).Analysis of electron spin resonance found that the photocatalytic products of TiO_(2)were·OH and·O^(2-),two kinds of ROS capable of killing bacteria via disrupting the structure of the bacterial membrane in *** experiments showed that the PLLA/TiO_(2)@rGO scaffolds had good antibacterial properties against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus ***,we report that these scaffolds exhibited both enhanced mechanical properties due to the addition of TiO_(2)@rGO as a reinforcement material and good biocompatibility during cell proliferation.

摘要：Objective： To summarize the clinical study on acupuncture treatment of hyperlipidemia for figuring out the existing issues and guiding the future study. Methods： Obtained by searching the scientific and technological journals database with computer, the relevant literature on acupuncture treatment of hyperlipidemia in the recent ten years is summarized and analyzed. Results and Conclusion： Forty-two pieces of the articles in conformity to the criteria of recruitment mainly refer to acupuncture, moxibustion, and simultaneous application of acupuncture and moxibustion, catgut-embedding method of the acupoints, external application of herbal products on the acupoints, and acupoint-injecting method, mostly by the acupoints of the Spleen and Stomach Meridians. But, the methods to select the acupoints by pattern identification, the application of the needling techniques and design of the test plans need to be further amended.

摘要：To create a scaffold that is suitable for the construction of tissue-engineered skin, a novel asymmetric porous scaffold with different pore sizes on either side was prepared by combining a collagen-chitosan porous membrane with fibrin glue. Tissue-engineered skin was fabricated using this asymmetric scaffold, fibroblasts, and a human keratinocyte line (HaCaT). Epidermal cells could be seen growing easily and achieved confluence on the fibrin glue on the upper surface of the scaffold. Scanning electron microscopy showed typical shuttle-like fibroblasts adhering to the wall of the scaffold and fluorescence microscopy showed them growing in the dermal layer of the scaffold. The constructed composite skin substitute had a histological structure similar to that of normal skin tissue after three weeks of culture. The results of our study suggest that the asymmetric scaffold is a promising biologically functional material for skin tissue engineering, with prospects for clinical applications.

摘要：A new method for the comparison of the treatment efficacy for specific diseases or conditions between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, which serve the same medical aim but are based on substantially different theoretical systems, was identified. Abiding by the principle of parallel subgroup design of a randomized controlled trial （PSD-RCT）, participants were recruited following identical inclusion and exclusion criteria and were randomly allocated into two groups to receive treatment using the respective approaches of Chinese medicine and Western medicine. The Chinese medicine group was divided into subgroups according to the theory of Chinese medicine and the Western medicine group was also divided into subgroups according to the theory of Western medicine. The treatment for each subgroup was well defined in the protocol, including major formulae and principles for individualized modifications. The primary outcome measure was ascertained to be directly related to the patients＇ status but independent from both theories of Chinese medicine and Western medicine, while the secondary outcomes were represented by the patient-reported outcomes and some laboratory tests commonly accepted by Chinese medicine and Western medicine. Then, taking functional dyspepsia as an example, the authors explain the framework of the PSD-RCT for efficacy comparisons between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, and recommend that the PSD-RCT can be used to compare treatment efficacy for a specific disease or condition between Chinese medicine and Western medicine, and the comparison among subgroups can provide valuable clues for further studies.
