摘要：In this paper, we study a new metric for slowly rotating charged Gauss-Bonnet black holes in higher-dimensional anti-de Sitter space. Taking the angular momentum parameter a up to second order, the slowly rotating charged black hole solutions are obtained by working directly in the action.

摘要：As well known, all higher dimensional Kerr-NUT-Ads metrics with arbitrary rotation and NUT parameters in an asymptotically Ad S spacetime have a new hidden symmetry. In this paper, we show that in the near horizon,the isometry group is enhanced to include the dilatation and special conformal transformation, and find the conformal transformation contains the cosmological constant. It is demonstrated that for near horizon extremal Kerr-NUT-Ads(NHEK-N-Ad S) only one rank-2 Killing tensor decomposes into a quadratic combination of the Killing vectors in terms of conformal group, while the others are functionally independent.

摘要：A novel aluminum iron oxide （Al/AlFe2O4/p-Si） Schottky photodiode was successfully fabricated via the sol-gel coating process. The microstructure of the spinel ferrite （AlFe2O4） was examined by atomic force microscopy. The current-voltage characteristics of the fabricated photodiode were studied under dark and different illumination conditions at room temperature. By using the thermionic emission theory, the forward bias I-V characteristics of the photodiode are analyzed to determine the main electrical parameters such as the ideality factor （n） and barrier height （ФB0） of the photodiode. The values of n and ФB0 for all conditions are found to be about 7.00 and 0.76 eV, respectively. In addition, the values of series resistance （Rs） are determined using Cheung＇s method and Ohm＇s law. The values of Rs and shunt resistance （Rsh） are decreased with the increase of illumination intensity. These new spinel ferrites will open a new avenue to other spinel structure materials for optoelectronic devices in the near future.

摘要：By using our computational fluid dynamic models, a new type of single engine capable of operating over a wide range of Mach numbers from subsonic to hypersonic regimes is proposed for airplanes, whereas traditional piston engines, turbojet engines, and scram engines work only under a narrower range of operating conditions. The new engine has no compressors or turbines such as those used in conventional turbojet engines. An important point is its system of super multijets that collide to compress gas for the transonic regime. Computational fluid dynamics is applied to clarify the potential of this engine. The peak pressure at the combustion center is over 2.5 MPa, while that just before ignition is over 1.0 MPa. The maximum power of this engine will be sufficient for actual use. Under the conditions of higher Mach numbers, the main intake passage located in front of the super multijet nozzles, takes in air more. That results in a ram or scramjet engine for supersonic and hypersonic conditions.

摘要：Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) using gelpolymer electrolytes with satisfactory theoretical capacity andlow cost hold great promise for high energy density storagesystems. However, the inherently unwanted polarizations anduncontrolled lithium dendrites resulting from inferior Li-iontransporting efficiency hinder the practical application ofconventional gel electrolytes. Herein, a highly conductivecomposite gel polymer electrolyte with effective Li-ion conducting channels is designed via swelling nanofibrous membrane, where the single-ion conducting polymer of lithiumsulfonate-based polyether (DEBS-Li) used as the Li-ion accelerator is combined with poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)P(VDF-HFP) matrix by the electrospinningtechnology. The DEBS-Li having rich sulfonic groups canpromote lithium salts dissociation via electrostatic interaction,thus expediting the ionic migration and enabling the as-developed gel electrolyte with high ionic conductivity (~1.58×10^(−3) S cm^(−1)) and lithium transference number (0.62) at 25℃.Such optimization of ionic transfer kinetics can highly delaythe nucleation time of lithium dendrite and significantly inhibit dendritic formation, which leads to a stable Li plating/stripping in the symmetrical battery over 250 h at1.5 mA cm^(−2). Benefiting from these advantages, the Li||LiFePO_(4)cell using the electrolyte realizes ultralong stable cyclingover 500 cycles at a high rate of 10 C with ~90% capacityretention. We believe this novel lithium sulfonate-basedpolyether gel polymer electrolyte has profound potential forpractical applications in high-performance LMBs.

摘要：In this paper, the discrete-time static output feedback control design problem is con- sidered. A nonlinear conjugate gradient method is analyzed and studied for solving an unconstrained matrix optimization problem that results from this optimal control prob- lem. In addition, through certain parametrization to the optimization problem an initial stabilizing static output feedback gain matrix is not required to start the conjugate gradi- ent method. Finally, the proposed algorithms are tested numerically through several test problems from the benchmark collection.

摘要：Uncertainty is inherent and unavoidable in almost all engineering systems. It is of essential significance to deal with uncertainties by means of reliability approach and to achieve a reasonable balance between reliability against uncertainties and system performance in the control design of uncertain systems. Nevertheless, reliability methods which can be used directly for analysis and synthesis of active control of structures in the presence of uncertainties remain to be developed, especially in non-probabilistic uncertainty situations. In the present paper, the issue of vibration con- trol of uncertain structures using linear quadratic regulator （LQR） approach is studied from the viewpoint of reliabil- ity. An efficient non-probabilistic robust reliability method for LQR-based static output feedback robust control of un- certain structures is presented by treating bounded uncertain parameters as interval variables. The optimal vibration con- troller design for uncertain structures is carried out by solv- ing a robust reliability-based optimization problem with the objective to minimize the quadratic performance index. The controller obtained may possess optimum performance un- der the condition that the controlled structure is robustly re- liable with respect to admissible uncertainties. The proposed method provides an essential basis for achieving a balance between robustness and performance in controller design ot uncertain structures. The presented formulations are in the framework of linear matrix inequality and can be carried out conveniently. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the present method.

摘要：Computer experiments are constructed to simulate the behavior of complex physical systems. Uniform designs have good performance in computer experiments from several aspects. In practical use, the experimenter needs to choose a small size uniform design at the beginning of an experiment due to a limit of time, budget, resources, and so on, and later conduct a follow up experiment to obtain precious information about the system, that is, a sequential experiment. The Lee distance has been widely used in coding theory and its corresponding discrepancy is an important measure for constructing uniform designs. This paper proves that all the follow up designs of a uniform design are uniform and at least two of them can be used as optimal follow up experimental designs. Thus, it is not necessary that the union of any two uniform designs yields a uniform sequential design. Therefore, this article presents a theoretical justification for choosing the best follow up design of a uniform design to construct a uniform sequential design that involves a mixture of ω≥ 1 factors with β_k ≥ 2, 1 ≤ k ≤ωlevels. For illustration of the usage of the proposed results, a closer look is given at using these results for the most extensively used six particular cases, three symmetric and three asymmetric designs, which are often met in practice.
