摘要：An experiment was conducted to evaluate physiological maturity of French bean genotypes at District Seed Farm "D" Block, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal during winter season of both 2012-2013 and 2013-2014. All the five genotypes were grown with sufficient population in three replications following randomized block design (RBD) for the purpose of developmental studies. Developing pods were harvested at different stages, starting from 7 days after anthesis (7 DAA) to 49 DAA with an interval of 7 d, including the field maturity stage, thus leading to study on maximum seven different stages. Harvested pods and seeds were utilized for this development programme through dry seed weight, germination and vigour index. Enhancement in dry matter accumulation in seed continued till 42 DAA for Selection 9 and Victoria in both the years; it was 49 and 42 DAA for Sonali in respective years; it was 49 DAA for Abhay in both the years; and for Deepali, it was 42 DAA along with statistically similar magnitude at 49 DAA. Significant enhancement in germination potential of developing seeds continued till 42 DAA for Selection 9 and Deepali, while it was 49 DAA for the other three genotypes. Enhancement in vigour index continued till 49 DAA for all the genotypes except for Selection 9, for which it continued till 42 DAA and then declined.

摘要：Cricket is widely recognized in Indonesia especially in Java island, and commonly kept by village farmers for food and feed. In general, crickets has very short life cycle (60-70 d), with three weeks of laying period and egg production within the range of 200-1,500 eggs/female. The female has capability for multiple mating with several males and therefore produces more fertile eggs. Serial studies including experiments on laboratory and field observation of local crickets had been conducted to evaluate the farming practices and reproductive performance of three local species (Gryllus spp., Gryllus mitratus and Gryllus testaceus) which were given local feeds—-Manihot esculenta and Carica papaya leaves. The experiment was conducted in randomized block design with feed as the treatments and species as the block. Cliring crickets (G. mitratus) fed with M. esculenta leaves revealed the highest total egg production (1,478.22 eggs), with daily egg production of 32.85 eggs/d, the longest laying period (45 d), the lowest feed intake (0.28 g/head) and feed conversion (0.93 mg/egg), compared to Cendawang crickets (G. testaceus) and Gryllus spp.. The revenue and cost (R/C) ratio was 1.4, indicating that small scale cricket enterprise could offer significant profit and could be chosen as an alternative activities for earning regular income.

摘要：为研究木骨架正交斜放竹条覆面墙板的竖向承载能力,设计了3种覆面组合墙板试件(双面竹条,竹条-石膏板,层板-石膏板),每种墙板试件各3块,尺寸为1200×1200 mm。通过对试件进行竖向承载力试验,研究对比分析3种覆面组合墙板的破坏模式,荷载-变形曲线以及极限承载力。试验结果表明:墙体破坏初期,竹条覆面部分发生弯曲,层板与石膏板中部发生弯曲;继续加载,覆面与龙骨连接铁钉拔出,部分竹条失去与墙体连接,层板石膏板发生弯折破坏;最终,竖向龙骨整体失稳导致墙体破坏。层板-石膏板组合墙板竖向龙骨表现为墙板平面内失稳破坏,覆面为竹条的组合墙板竖向龙骨表现为墙板平面外失稳破坏。分析结果表明:正交斜放竹条覆面可提高试件竖向承载能力,且延性优于层板-石膏板覆面墙板试件。

摘要：The process of decision making and risk analysis are essential tasks along the construction project cycle. Over the years, construction practitioners and researchers have used various methods, tools and techniques to evaluate risk and assist in making more concise decisions. Most practitioners, however, rely on their expert judgment, past experience, intuition, acquired and accumulated knowledge and gut feelings to make decisions. Aleatory (natural, heterogeneity and stochasticity) and epistemic (subjective, ignorance) are the two major types of uncertainties observed in natural sciences. Practitioners traditionally deal with aleatory uncertainty through probabilistic analysis based on historical data (frequentist approach); and epistemic uncertainty, on the other hand, handled through the Bayesian approach which has limitations since it requires a priori assumption. This paper reports the application of the DST (Dempster Shafer Theory) of evidence to determine the most critical risk factors affecting project cost contingencies using their epistemic probabilities of occurrence. The paper further discuses how these factors can be managed to enhance successful delivery of infrastructural projects. It uses the mixed methodology, with data gathered through structured questionnaires distributed to construction clients, contractors, professionals and experts in the built environment. The research revealed that design risk, financial risk and economic risk were most important cost risk categorizations. In particular, scope changes, incomplete scope definition, incomplete design, changes in specification, micro and macroeconomic indicators and delayed payment problems were identified as the most important risk factors to be considered during the cost contingency estimation process, hence successful delivery of infrastructural projects. 摘要：Ankylosing spondylitis(AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects 1% of the general population. As one of the most severe types of spondyloarthropathy, AS affects the spinal vertebrae and sacroiliac joints, causing debilitating pain and loss of mobility. The goal of this review is to provide an overview of AS, from the pathophysiological changes that occur as the disease progresses, to genetic factors that are involved with its onset. Considering the high prevalence in the population, and the debilitating life changes that occur as a result of the disease, a strong emphasis is placed on the diagnostic imaging methods that are used to detect this condition, as well as several treatment methods that could improve the health of individuals diagnosed with AS.

摘要：目的寻找筛查慢性肾脏病的有效策略,并描述慢性肾脏病的自然病程。设计横断面健康调查(HUNT Ⅱ研究)后的8年随访。地点挪威 Nord-TrΦndelag 县。对象 65604人(该国家≥20岁的成年人占70.6%)。主要研究终点指标终末期肾病(ESRD)发生率和心血管事件死亡率,二者通过联接到中心登记处的个人信息进行监测。结果人群中3069/65 604(4.7%)有慢性肾脏病(CKD)(估算肾小球滤过率55岁的人群,其中93.2%(92.4%～94.0%)有 CKD,发现1例 CKD则需要筛查8.7(8.5～9.0)人。美国 KDOQI 指南得出相似的筛查结果,英国慢性肾脏病指南的筛查结果仅为51.6%(49.6%～53.4%)。而只筛查既往有明确糖尿病史或高血压病史的人群的结果为44.2%(42.7%～45.7%),每发现1例CKD 需要筛查6人。在8年的随访中,3069例CKD 患者仅有38例进展为终末期肾病;而且,无高血压和糖尿病,女性,年龄≥70岁或筛查时肾小球滤过率(GFR)为45～59ml/min/1.73m^2者,他们发生 ESRD 的危险性尤其低。相比而言,心血管事件死亡率则很高,筛查时 GFR 为45～59,30～44和55岁的人群进行筛查是发现 CKD 患者最有效的策略,但是在这些患者中发生 ESRD 的危险性较低。

摘要：Systematic characterization of available crop varieties using morphological traits is needed to fuel breeders’ efforts in African eggplant. Twenty-eight accessions of African eggplant from three species of Solanum aethiopicum (16), Solanum macrocarpon (9) and Solanum anguivi (3) were characterized using standard morphological descriptors. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The results indicated distinct and wide variations between the three Solanum species studied. There were however a lot of similarities between the S. aethiopicum and S. anguivi lines. This suggests the two materials being closer to each other than they are to the S. macrocarpon.
