摘要：A robust tree-ring-width chronology was developed from two Pinus tabulaeformis sampling sites in the source of the Fenhe River,Shanxi Province,*** on the tree-ring-width indices,a 157-year long Palmer Drought Severity Index(PDSI) was reconstructed,which explains 53.7% of the variance of the modeled PDSI over the common period *** drought periods in the study area include 1914-1931 and 1970 to the present,whereas the wet periods were 1866-1892 and *** drought of 1914-1931 was a severe long-lasting drought with a low inter-annual variability,and the drought of 1970-2009 was an overall long-term drought with a high inter-annual *** period of 1866-1892 is a continuously wet period with a low inter-annual variability and the period of 1932-1969 is an overall long-term wet period with a high inter-annual *** reconstructed PDSI series in the source of the Fenhe River shows synchronous variations with the regional drought/wetness *** correlation analyses indicate that the higher correlations lie exclusively in the Fenhe River *** indicates that the reconstructed PDSI has regional representativeness and can represent the drought history of the entire Fenhe River Basin to some ***,the reconstructed PDSI matches with the variability of the per unit yield of summer grain crops in Shanxi Province very well and they have significant *** a long-term perspective the reconstructed PDSI series could supply scientific and valuable information to the water resources management and then help the sustainable development in agricultural production,economic development,and ecosystem balance.

摘要：A real-time pricing system of electricity is a system that charges different electricity prices for different hours of the day and for different days, and is effective for reducing the peak and flattening the load curve. In this paper, using a Markov decision process (MDP), we propose a modeling method and an optimal control method for real-time pricing systems. First, the outline of real-time pricing systems is explained. Next, a model of a set of customers is derived as a multi-agent MDP. Furthermore, the optimal control problem is formulated, and is reduced to a quadratic programming problem. Finally, a numerical simulation is presented.

摘要：Design of control strategies for gene regulatory networks is a challenging and important topic in systems biology. In this paper, the problem of finding both a minimum set of control nodes (control inputs) and a controller is studied. A control node corresponds to a gene that expression can be controlled. Here, a Boolean network is used as a model of gene regulatory networks, and control specifications on attractors, which represent cell types or states of cells, are imposed. It is important to design a gene regulatory network that has desired attractors and has no undesired attractors. Using a matrix-based representation of BNs, this problem can be rewritten as an integer linear programming problem. Finally, the proposed method is demonstrated by a numerical example on a WNT5A network, which is related to melanoma.

摘要：Electronic absorption bands of conjugated linear carbon chain molecules, namely polyynes H(C≡C)nH (n=5-7), are exploited to devise light-polarizing films applicable to the UV. Laser ablated polyynes are separated in size and dispersed in a film of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), which is stretched to align the trapped linear polyyne molecules inside. As a nature of the structural anisotropy, transition dipole of the UV absorption for polyyne molecules is in parallel with the molecular axis and the absorption occurs only for the electromagnetic wave having the amplitude of its electric vector along the molecular axis. Aligned and fixed orientationally in the solid PVA film, polyyne molecules act as selective absorbers of one of the polarization components of incident light at particular wavelength. Using a light source of linearly polarized UV light, whose direction of polarization is rotatable, angular dependence of the absorption intensity is investigated for the stretched PVA film containing aligned polyyne molecules and analyzed in terms of an order parameter in the theory of linear dichroism.

摘要：This paper shows the method of estimating spatiotemporal distribution of pedestrians by using watch cameras. We estimate the distribution without tracking technology, with pedestrian＇s privacy protected and in Umeda underground mall. Lately spatiotemporal distribution of pedestrians has being increasingly important in the field of urban planning, disaster prevention planning, marketing and so on. Although many researchers have tried to capture the information of location as dealing with some sensors, some problems still remain, such as the investment of sensors, the restriction of the number of people who has the device they are able to capture. From such background, we develop an original labelling algorithm and estimate the spatiotemporal distribution of pedestrians and the information of the passing time and the direction of pedestrians from sequential images of a watch camera.

摘要：An asymptotic existence of balanced incomplete block (BIB) designs and pairwise balanced designs (PBD) has been discussed in [1]-[3]. On the other hand, the existence of additive BIB designs and pairwise additive BIB designs with k = 2?and?λ = 1?has been discussed with direct and recursive constructions in [4]-[8]. In this paper, an asymptotic existence of pairwise additive BIB designs is proved by use of Wilson’s theorem on PBD, and?also for some l?and k the exact existence of l?pairwise additive BIB designs with block size k and?λ = 1?is discussed.

摘要：Mobile platform develops rapidly in recent years, with its performance and capacity increasing. A large number of virtual reality applications such as 3D simulation and visualization have appeared on mobile platform. However, due to restrictions, such as the lack of computing resources and the limited network bandwidth, the virtual reality systems on mobile platform could not have comparable performance as their peers on desktop platform. Taking resource restrictions into consideration, trade-offs have been made regarding the display of virtual reality systems. We propose a unified network scheduling strategy based on asynchronous multi-thread, database cache, prioritization and elimination of overdue requests. This strategy has been tested on the prototype system of virtual reality system on Android. The results demonstrate higher network resource utilization and better user experience.

摘要：This paper presents a free viewpoint video （FVV） system based on ray-space interpolation method The new algorithm matches individual pixels in corresponding scanline pairs by using a ruing technique. A sparse intermediate view disparity map is projected from matched dynamic programpixels firstly, and the holes （occluded pixels） are filled in by propagating the disparity of neighboring background pixels. After interpolating dense view images, an arbitrary virtual view image can be easily rendered from the dense ray-space converted from these view images. The proposed method is evaluated on the Middlebury data set and compared with other methods, experimental results show that the better quality of the intermediate view is obtained and the corresponding computational complexity is reduced significantly.
