摘要：This is a poem review which analyzes The Mill that was written by a new poet in China, looking at it from the conceptual perspective. The conceptual shift and collocation between concreteness and abstractness enable her poems to carry both linguistic power and emotional strength; the conceptual images created by her abstract thinking and unique perception make her poems achieve originality and readability; her conceptual self built by the use of first person pronouns is actually not that of a person but that of a personified mule who was indignant about its heavy workload yet unable to speak against its predestined destiny. Although suffering from brain paralysis, the poet is shown by this review to be a sensible manipulator of words, which reveal the unique beauty in her language and show the suppressed sadness in her heart.

摘要：Right from the beginning to the end of the 18th-century,a large number of British women poets stepped out as outright and eloquent *** celebration,persuasion,and protest with their poems,18th-century British women poets voiced out their patriotism,especially in their promotion of the British national identity by building up national confidence,constructing national ideals,and bringing the national ideals closer together with the actual practices during national crises in the War of American Independence,anti-slavery activism,and the French *** majority of their patriotic poems got published in the *** patriotic voices,especially those of their vigorous construction of the British national identity,have been largely neglected and therefore should be fully acknowledged since that identity they helped to promote remains a key issue for the British even today.

摘要：This paper takes the C-E translation of product introductory texts on official websites of three mobile phone makers as the study object under the Skopos theory, with an aim to identify and analyze the distinctive translation features of such special type of text. The exhausted parse and analysis bring out the findings that there exists a significant translation difference between the Chinese and English-version product introductory texts on official websites. It is found that Chinese introductory texts are more inclined to rely on exquisite words and redundant expressions to describe products’ features and functions, while switching to the corresponding English version, simple vocabularies and compact sentence structure are more frequent. Hereafter, this paper raises two practical guidelines to instruct translation activities in business contexts.

摘要：The fight against cancer has witnessed the rapid develop・ment of various therapeutic methodologies,including chemotherapy,surgery,radiotherapy,phototherapy,and the emerging immunotherapy[1].However,malignancies evolve adaptive tolerance under the threatening conditions upon therapies because of some potential biological or genetic mutations,which may cause serious adverse events,compromised therapeutic efficacy and even treatment *** instance,following the standard chemotherapy with paclitaxel,primary breast cancer can release exosomes that facilitate the seeding and growth of metastatic cancer cells in distant organs[2].Therefore,the term"adaptive treatment tolerance"(ATT),rather than"drug resistance",has been employed to better describe the dynamic evolution of this phenomenon during/post cancer therapy.

摘要：A number of novel 2-（2-arylmorpholino-4-yl）ethyl 1-（4-chlorobenzoyl）-5-methoxy-2-methyl-lH-indol-3- acetate hydrochlorides were synthesized and tested for their cyclooxygenase （COX-1 and COX-2） inhibition prop- erties in vitro. Many of these compounds exhibited moderate to good selective COX-2 inhibition, and subtle struc- tural changes in the substituents on the side chain of the ester moiety altered the inhibitory properties significantly. 2-[2-（4-Butoxyphenyl）morpholino-4-yl]ethyl 1-（4-chlorobenzoyl）-5-methoxy-2-methyl-IH-indol-3-acetate hydro- chloride （If）, showed good selective COX-2 inhibitory activity （Selective index （SI） 182）, which is comparative with celecoxib （SI 214）, a COX-2 inhibitor of diarylpyrazoles. While 2-[2-（2,4-dichloro-5-fluorophenyl）mor- pholino-4-yl]ethyl 1-（4-chlorobenzoyl）-5-methoxy-2-methyl-IH-indol-3-acetate hydrochloride （lg）, showed greater selective COX-2 inhibitory activity （SI 358） than celecoxib. Both compounds were identified as compromising de- rivatives in this class to reduce the side effects generated by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs （NSAIDs） indo- methacin.

摘要：In response to the challenges faced by the peer feedback,this research is to investigate how to develop peer feedback literacy,a much less discussed area from the previous *** the new literacy approach to analyze a case study in a Chinese college,the framework of peer feedback literacy for Chinese learners is developed in three dimensions:affect,knowledge,and communicative *** them,knowledge on peer feedback includes understanding rubrics,making judgements,giving advice,and using *** research was conducted among 25 first-year English majors in a semester-long writing course,where the peer feedback was done five ***,semi-structured interviews,and in-text peer comments in learners’assignments were collected for analysis and *** is found that the introduction of well-designed rubrics and the teacher’s modelling helped develop peer feedback literacy,and largely solved some problems arising in peer feedback,such as learners’ignorance of content feedback,their distrust of peers’comments,and Chinese learners’unwillingness to point out the problems due to face-threatening.
