摘要：Ankylosing spondylitis(AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects 1% of the general population. As one of the most severe types of spondyloarthropathy, AS affects the spinal vertebrae and sacroiliac joints, causing debilitating pain and loss of mobility. The goal of this review is to provide an overview of AS, from the pathophysiological changes that occur as the disease progresses, to genetic factors that are involved with its onset. Considering the high prevalence in the population, and the debilitating life changes that occur as a result of the disease, a strong emphasis is placed on the diagnostic imaging methods that are used to detect this condition, as well as several treatment methods that could improve the health of individuals diagnosed with AS.

摘要：A brief review on suspended-core fibers for sensing applications is presented. A historical overview over the previous ten years about this special designed microstructure optical fiber is described. This fiber presents attractive optical properties for chemical/biological or gas measurement, but it can be further explored for alternative sensing solutions, namely, in-fiber interferometers based on the suspended-core or suspended-multi-core fiber, for physical parameter monitoring.

摘要：Background: The number of older people is increasing. Many of them expect to maintain a rich social life and to continue driving at an older age. Objective: The present study investigates the mechanisms behind self-regulation and driving cessation in order to suggest development of support systems to prolong older drivers’ safe mobility. Method: Three focus groups were conducted with 19 older active drivers aged 65+ who were divided according to annual mileage driven. Results: A content analysis revealed broad self-regulatory behaviour as already reported in the literature, e.g., avoiding driving at rush hour and at night. The participants also reported difficulty in finding the way to their final destination and an increasing need to plan their travelling. Co-piloting was a behaviour applied by couples to cope with difficulties encountered in traffic. A large part of the discussion was focused on emerging feelings of stress, anxiety and fear when driving in recent years, a feeling induced by external factors e.g., other road users’ behaviour, traffic density or high speed. Apart from health problems, high levels of stress could explain driving cessation, especially for women. An increased feeling of safety and comfort could be achieved by an increased use of support systems specifically designed to respond to older drivers’ needs. Conclusion: Support systems for older drivers should increase comfort and decrease their stress levels. New systems, such as co-pilot function and more developed Global Positioning System (GPS) supporting of the entire travel from door to door, should be developed to respond to the market needs.

摘要：目的调查护士对有喂养困难的唇腭裂患儿所采用的临床奶瓶喂养技术现状。方法采用质性描述性研究设计。于2021年12月至2022年1月,向日本1109所设有产科、新生儿科或小儿牙科病房的医院分别发放匿名问卷。参与者是具有5年以上唇腭裂患儿护理工作经验的护士。问卷包括喂养技术4个方面的开放式问题,包括:奶瓶喂养前的准备、乳头插入方法、吸吮帮助和停止奶瓶喂养的标准。根据意义相似性对资料进行分类和分析。结果共获得410份有效问卷。资料分析结果显示,奶瓶喂养前的准备工作分为7个类别(如,改善患儿的口腔运动、保持患儿平稳呼吸),27个子类别;在乳头插入方法中,分为4个类别(如,用乳头在口腔内形成负压封闭裂口、插入乳头时不接触裂口),11个子类别;在吸吮帮助中,分为5个类别(如,促进觉醒、口腔产生负压),13个子类别;在停止奶瓶喂养的标准中,分为5个类别(如,觉醒水平降低、生命体征变差),16个子类别。96.0%护士希望学习唇腭裂患儿的奶瓶喂养技术。结论本研究确定了多项用于唇腭裂喂养困难患儿的奶瓶喂养技术。然而,这些技术之间存在相互矛盾,方法的有效性也未得到评估。未来需要进行干预研究,以确定各项技术的益处或潜在的危害。

摘要：The present study aimed at determining whether short-term exposure to art in shared common areas in congregate housing units could affect health and health determinants among the residents. Ten residents (mean age 80.4 years) at one block were exposed to visual art environmental enrichment in common areas over a period of three months. Thirteen persons (mean age 86.6 years) living in another block played in-house boule. Cornell’s test, Mini-Mental tests (MMT), and face recognition test were performed to assess depression, cognition, and episodic memory, respectively before and after the intervention. The results show that visual art environmental enrichment in common areas and lack of stimulating and guiding dialogues show a change in depression scores in the intervention group (p = 0.018) and the control group (p = 0.009). MMT scores improved only in the control group (p = 0.003). No changes in episodic memory in any of the groups were observed. It could be concluded that in order to obtain a positive result of short term visual art environmental enrichment, guiding art dialogues conducted by nurses, as described in previous research, should be added to visual art environmental enrichment in healthcare settings.
