摘要：Since the 1980s and 1980s, a new trend in the discipline of Translation Studies has emerged beyond the boundaries of Europe. Scholars from post-colonial nations like Canada, India, China, Africa, and Latin America have argued that translation was used in the past as a means of depriving the colonised people of their voice. In the colonial structure, the hegemonic culture used to dominate, making the others subservient. Translation in the colonial period reflected that hierarchy. In this light, decades after the independence of India, translation from a reverse direction, that is, rendering popular English texts in minority languages, may be seen as a process of＂writing back＂. Even if the original text concerned is not a ＂political＂ writing, and the translation is apparently meant for ＂safer-zones＂ such as ＂young students＇ literature＂, a tendency of claiming cultural equality, overlapping the translator＇s own cultural and literary heritage with the original author＇s, can be discovered. This paper attempts to focus on these issues in a particular text—the 1995 Bengali translation of Marie Corelli＇s 1921 science-fiction, The Secret Power. The purpose of this paper is to explore how Sudhindranath Raha has intermingled Biblical references and Western contexts with allusions to Indian culture and Sanskrit literature, thereby claiming a space for mutual understanding and respect between two cultures.

摘要：In this study,issues concerning the design of scales for measuring teacher sense of efficacy(TSE)are first identified with particular attention to the Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale(TSES).Psychometric issues concerning analysis and reporting of TSE data are subsequently *** are offered about all identified issues,and these recommendations are taken into account when obtaining and analyzing TSE data from Chinese mainland preservice and inservice *** factor analyses yielded a single factor for both samples as well as for four subgroups within the inservice teacher *** also provided insights about scale design as well as the TSES being limited for capturing the breadth of *** are made for improvements in the assessment of TSE.

摘要：More than two decades ago, object-oriented representation of AEC （architecture engineering and construction） projects started to offer the promise of seamless communication of semantic data models between computer-based systems used from the design stage to the operation of the facilities. BIM （building information modelling） emerged and appeared as a means to store all relevant data generated during the life-cycle of the facilities. But this upstream view of the built environment, arising from the design and construction stages, extended to the downstream operations where building and industrial facilities appeared more and more as huge dynamic data producers and concentrators while being operated. This created new challenges leading to what is referred to as ISCs （intelligent and smart constructions）. The current state of the art is that final constructions still contain various and increasingly versatile control and service systems, which are hardly standardised, and not interconnected among themselves. Monitoring, maintenance and services are done by specialised companies, each responsible of different systems, which are relying on customised software and techniques to meet specific user needs and are based on monolithic applications that require manual configuration for specific uses, maintenance and support. We demonstrate in this paper that the early promises of integration across the actors and along the life-time of facilities have gone a long way but will only be delivered through enhanced standardisation of computerized models, representations, services and operations still not yet fully accomplished 25 years after work started.

摘要：In the statistical standard literature the stationarity of a time dependent process generally is defined by the invariance in time of the distribution of the variable, like a SPL （sound pressure level） fluctuating in time. However in reality there cannot exist constant distribution, respectively characteristics, in time in the strict mathematical sense because the time intervals of observation only can be finite due to practical reasons. Hence on every distribution and characteristics based on it a certain, but evaluable uncertainty is imposed. For monitoring these uncertainties the online-measurement technique, i.e. primarily appropriate software, is already available, also for customers. According to this state of the art the following expanded definition of the stationarity is proposed： Stationarity during a quality controlled measurement process becomes established, when the upper confidence limit of the interesting specific characteristic has no positive slope in time and correspondingly the lower confidence limit of the specific characteristic no negative slope and, as a third, a common condition, the interesting specific characteristic has adjusted itself to a constant position in time. From this a systematic criteria scheme is established and in examples applied on different in- and outdoor situations of sound impact.
