摘要：In this paper, a Turbo aided Cyclic Prefix (CP) reconstruction scheme, termed Turbo- CPR, is proposed for Single-Carrier systems with Frequency-Domain Equalization (SC-FDE) that employ insufficient CP in the transmitter. In Turbo-CPR, the decoder output is incorporated in the process of equalization, i.e. Turbo equalizer is employed. It is shown in the simulation results that Turbo-CPR not only recovers the performance loss due to insufficiency of CP, but also provides extra gains over the lower bound of performance for conventional CP reconstruction schemes.

摘要：In this work, power efficient butterfly unit based FFT architecture is presented. The butterfly unit is designed using floating-point fused arithmetic units. The fused arithmetic units include two-term dot product unit and add-subtract unit. In these arithmetic units, operations are performed over complex data values. A modified fused floating-point two-term dot product and an enhanced model for the Radix-4 FFT butterfly unit are proposed. The modified fused two-term dot product is designed using Radix-16 booth multiplier. Radix-16 booth multiplier will reduce the switching activities compared to Radix-8 booth multiplier in existing system and also will reduce the area required. The proposed architecture is implemented efficiently for Radix-4 decimation in time(DIT) FFT butterfly with the two floating-point fused arithmetic units. The proposed enhanced architecture is synthesized, implemented, placed and routed on a FPGA device using Xilinx ISE tool. It is observed that the Radix-4 DIT fused floating-point FFT butterfly requires 50.17% less space and 12.16% reduced power compared to the existing methods and the proposed enhanced model requires 49.82% less space on the FPGA device compared to the proposed design. Also, reduced power consumption is addressed by utilizing the reusability technique, which results in 11.42% of power reduction of the enhanced model compared to the proposed design.

摘要：To obtain the peak response at 532nm, narrow-band response GaA1As photocathodes with two GaAIAs ac- tive layers of different aluminum compositions are designed in consideration of the maximum absorptivity and quantum efficiency. The transmission-mode and the corresponding reflective-mode photocathodes are grown by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition. The results indicate that the peak response and the cut-off wavelength occur at 532nm for the two kinds of photocathodes respectively. The response of the reflection-mode photoeath- ode is an order of magnitude higher than that of the transmission-mode photocathode, whereas the better growth quality and the thicker second GaAIAs active layer can improve the transmission-mode response.

摘要：We employ nondestructive evaluation involving AC field measurement in detecting and identifying metal barcode labels,providing a reference for *** the magnetic scalar potential boundary condition at notches in thin-skin field theory and 2D Fourier transform,we introduce an analytical model for the magnetic scalar potential induced by the interaction of a high-frequency inducer with a metal barcode label containing multiple narrow saw-cut notches,and then calculate the magnetic field in the free space above the metal barcode *** the simulations of the magnetic field,qualitative analysis is given for the effects on detecting and identifying metal barcode labels,which are caused by metal material,notch characteristics,exciting inducer properties,and other factors that can be used in metal barcode label design as *** results are in good accordance with experiment results.

A fringing gate electric field through the dielectric spacer induces an inversion layer in the non-overlap region to act as an extended S/D（source/drain） *** is found that an optimal source/drain-to-gate non-overlapped and high-A：spacer structure has reduced the gate leakage current to a great extent as compared to those of an overlapped ***,the proposed structure had improved off current,subthreshold slope and drain induced barrier lowering（DIBL） *** is concluded that this structure solves the problem of high leakage current without introducing extra series resistance.

摘要：Modern wireless communications gadgets demand multi-standard communications facilities with least overlap between different input radio channels. A sharp digital filter of extremely narrow transition-width with lower stop band ripples offers alias-free switching among the preferred frequency bands. A computationally competent low pass filter (LPF) structure based on the multistage frequency response masking (FRM) approach is proposed for the design of sharp finite impulse response (FIR) filters which are suitable for wireless communications applications. In comparison of basic FRM with other existing multistage FRM structures, the proposed structure has a narrow transition bandwidth and higher stop band attenuation with significant reduction in terms of the number of computational steps. A design example is incorporated to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach. Simulation results establish the improvement of the proposed scheme over other recently published design strategies.

摘要：This article proposes a novel stable clustering design method for hierarchical satellite network in order to increase its stability,reduce the overhead of storage and exert effective control of the delay performances based on a 5-dimensional vector model. According to the function of stability measureinent and owing to the limitation of minimal average routing table length, the hierarchical satellite network is grouped into separate stable connected clusters to improve destruction resistance and reconstruction ability in the future integrated network. In each cluster, redundant communication links with little contribution to network stability and slight influences on delay variation are deleted to satisfy the requirements for stability and connectivity by means of optimal link resources, and, also, the idea of logical weight is introduced to select the optimal satellites used to communicate with neighboring cluster satellites. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by comparing it with the simulated performances of other two typical hierarchical satellite networks, double layer satellite constellation（DLSC） and satellite over satellite（SOS）.

摘要：For the first time, we have introduced a novel GaN based resonant tunneling high electron mobility transistor （RTHEMT） on a silicon substrate. A monolithically integrated GaN based inverted high electron mobility transistor （HEMT） and a resonant tunneling diode （RTD） are designed and simulated using the ATLAS simulator and MATLAB in this study. The 10% Al composition in the barrier layer of the GaN based RTD structure provides a peak-to-valtey current ratio of 2.66 which controls the GaN based HEMT performance. Thus the results indicate an improvement in the current-voltage characteristics of the RTHEMT by controlling the gate voltage in this structure. The introduction of silicon as a substrate is a unique step taken by us for this type of RTHEMT structure.
