摘要：作为一种新兴的联合治疗策略,肿瘤化学免疫治疗拓展了传统化疗药物的潜在可能性,利用某些化疗药物诱发免疫原性细胞死亡(ICD)激活抗肿瘤免疫应答,提升肿瘤治疗效率.本文设计了一种ICD和免疫激动剂协作的树形高分子纳米平台作为极简“原位”肿瘤疫苗用于高效的化学免疫治疗.利用树状高分子PAMAM担载ICD引发药物DOX以及免疫激动剂CpG,该DOX@PAMAM/CpG(简称DPC)纳米粒子物理性能适宜,通过便捷的瘤内注射可在肿瘤组织良好蓄积和内化,并最大限度地降低全身毒性.在CpG的协助下该纳米粒子可引发强劲的ICD并激活全面的抗肿瘤免疫反应,体内动物实验证实该DPC纳米粒子对侵袭性黑色素瘤具有显著的抑制.本研究为肿瘤化学免疫治疗纳米递药平台的构建提供了一种切实可行的策略.

摘要：OBJECTIVE: To examine the efficacy of Korean red ginseng for improving blood flow in healthy people. METHODS: Participants were randomized and treated with 1500 mg of Korean red ginseng extract or placebo for 8 weeks. The effect of Korean red ginseng was evaluated by digital infrared thermal images, and Doppler sonography, and blood test. RESULTS: Forty subjects completed the protocol. Imbalance in local thermal distribution was significantly decreased in the Korean red ginseng group confirmed by digital infrared thermal images. Doppler sonography showed no significant change in maximum and average rates of bloodcirculation in single or complex areas. Blood analyses for coagulation and lipid metabolism factors revealed no significant changes. No abnormal reactions to the Korean red ginseng were observed. CONCLUSION: Digital infrared thermal imaging showed that the temperature deviation in the whole body decreased safely in the Korean red ginseng group, which mitigated the body-temperature imbalance. This result suggests that the Korean red ginseng improves blood circulation in the human body.

摘要：Background： Despite the rapid growth in the incidence of acute myocardial infarction （AMI） in China, there is limited information about patients＇ experiences after AMI hospitalization, especially on long-tern1 adverse events and patient-reported outcomes （PROs）. Methods： The China Patient-centered Evaluative Assessment of Cardiac Events （PEACE）-Prospective AMI Study will enroll 4000 consecutive AM I patients from 53 diverse hospitals across China and follow them longitudinally for 12 months to docunlent their treatment, recovery, and outcomes. Details of patients＇ medical history, treatment, and in-hospital outcomes are abstracted from medical charts. Comprehensive baseline interviews are being conducted to characterize patient demographics, risk factors, presentation, and healthcare utilization. As part of these interviews, validated instruments are administered to measure PROs, including quality of life, symptoms, mood, cognition, and sexual activity. Follow-up interviews, measuring PROs, medication adherence, risk factor control, and collecting hospitalization events are conducted at 1, 6, and 12 months after discharge. Supporting documents for potential outcomes are collected for adjudication by clinicians at the National Coordinating Center. Blood and urine samples are also obtained at baseline, 1 - and 12-month follow-up. In addition, we are conducting a survey of participating hospitals to characterize their organizational characteristics. Conclusion： The China PEACE-Prospective AMI study will be uniquely positioned to generate new information regarding patient＇s experiences and outcomes alter AMI in China and seiwe as a foundation for quality improveinent activities.

摘要：Lactic acidosis is a rare complication of malignancies and is seen more frequently in high grade lymphoma and leukemia. Although, its pathogenesis is not well understood, it remains a surrogate of poor prognosis. Herein, we present a case of Burkitt-like lymphoma presenting with metabolic abnormalities including lactic acidosis and hypoglycemia along with atrial tachycardia. We will discuss the different mechanisms involved in these metabolic disturbances and we will provide insight on novel therapeutic strategies based on our understanding of the underlying pathophysiology.
