摘要：The Ba sentence is unique existence in Chinese. There is no corresponding sentence pattern in English. Thus, the translation of Ba sentences is a challenge for translators. Even with the myriad analyses on the translation of Ba sentences, small quantity of them demonstrates the correctness and the reading effect of the translation by using a specific theory. And the image schema theory reflects the projects between the source domain and the target domain, while in the translation analysis there are schemata in the source language and the target language. So the paper does comparisons of schemata between the source text and the target text of Ba sentences, which are chosen from the English translation of Words of Fire—Poems by Jidi Majia translated by Denis Mair. After the demonstration, the following conclusions are found: First, the schema of the sentence is decided by verbs of the Ba sentences, rather than by the sentence structures;second, the image schema is a feasible tool to check correctness of Ba sentences translation.

摘要：Discourse ideology refers to the position, attitude and guideline employed by a writer or speaker constructing a discourse in relation to the readers/hearers. This paper defines the notion of discourse ideology in the practice of translation, highlights the relationship between discourse ideology and the translator＇s subjectivity, and illustrates the translation strategies appropriate to the context of publicity of Chinese minority culture to the readers outside china. A tentative conclusion is drawn that the top-down approach from discourse ideology to translation strategies and the bottom-up approach from translation strategies to discourse ideology complement with each other in the Chinese-to-English translation of publicity on Chinese minority culture.

摘要：Culture is an important component in translation. This paper reviews cultural translation researches and practices, proposes a cultural model for Chinese-to-English translation composed of inputs, filters and outputs which could be realized by a number of methods and techniques in the translating process, and finally applies the model to Chinese-to-English translation of Guizhou＇s local culture. It is argued that the cultural model is expected to draw international target text readers close to Chinese culture.

摘要：In view of huge search space in drug design, machine learning has become a powerful method to predict the affinity between small molecular drug and targeting protein with the development of artificial intelligence technology. However, various machine learning algorithms including massive different parameters make the prediction framework choice to be quite difficult. In this work, we took a recent drug design competition(from XtalPi company on the DataCastle platform) as the typical case to find the optimized parameters for different machines learning algorithms and the most effective algorithm. After the parameter optimizations, we compared the typical machine learning methods as decision tree(XGBoost, LightGBM) and artificial neural network(MLP, CNN) with root-mean-square error(RMSE) and coefficient of determination(R^2) evaluation. As a result, decision tree is more effective than the neural network as LightGBM>XGBoost>CNN>MLP in the affinity prediction of the specific drug design problem with ～160000 samples. For a much larger screening task in a more complicated drug design study, the sophisticated neural network model may go beyond the decision tree algorithm after generalization enhancing and overfitting reducing. The advanced machine learning methods could extract more information of protein-ligand bindings than traditional ones and improve the screen efficiency of drug design up to 200–1000 times.
