摘要：In this paper, iterative learning control （ILC） design is studied for an iteration-varying tracking problem in which reference trajectories are generated by high-order internal models （HOLM）. An HOlM formulated as a polynomial operator between consecutive iterations describes the changes of desired trajectories in the iteration domain and makes the iterative learning problem become iteration varying. The classical ILC for tracking iteration-invariant reference trajectories, on the other hand, is a special case of HOlM where the polynomial renders to a unity coefficient or a special first-order internal model. By inserting the HOlM into P-type ILC, the tracking performance along the iteration axis is investigated for a class of continuous-time nonlinear systems. Time-weighted norm method is utilized to guarantee validity of proposed algorithm in a sense of data-driven control.

摘要：锌表面自然形成的非均匀氧化层(ZnO)会与电解液发生反应形成Zn_(4)(OH)_(6)SO_(4)·xH_(2)O(ZSH)副产物,导致锌负极表面非均匀沉积,从而阻碍水性锌离子电池实际应用.为了排除氧化层分布形式的影响,本文利用表面终止化学设计策略在锌负极表面制备了一层完全氧化的ZnO层,研究发现锌负极均匀分布的ZnO层会原位演化形成致密的ZSH功能层.均匀且致密的ZSH能够有效隔绝电解液的腐蚀,从而有效提高锌负极界面的稳定性.此外,ZSH(002)晶面边缘的不饱和悬空键(如-O)更容易和Zn(H_(2)O)_(6)^(2+)结构中的锌离子形成强Zn-O键,可以促进Zn(H_(2)O)_(6)^(2+)的脱溶剂化和锌离子沿边扩散,实现了高度可逆的锌沉积行为并限制了副反应.基于此,本文提出与“表面脱水-晶体通道转移”机制明显不同的“边缘脱水-沿边缘转移”锌离子输运新机制.更重要的是,基于此组装的全电池显示出高循环稳定性(超过1000次循环)和高库仑效率(99.07%),验证了其潜在的实际应用价值.

摘要：As catchments become urbanized due to population growth the impervious surfaces created by buildings and pavements in the expense of permeable soil, depressions, and vegetation cause rainwater to flow rapidly over the landscape. To mitigate the adverse impact of urbanization such as increased flooding and depleted groundwater recharge, around the world, several best management practices, in other words, green infrastructures have been practised, and soak-away rain garden is one of them. However, to have a rapid assessment of soak-away rain gardens on a range of potential hydrologic conditions (e.g., size of the soak-away rain garden, saturated hydraulic conductivity of the in-situ soil, and saturated hydraulic conductivity of the filter media), hydrologic design guidelines or design charts of soak-away rain gardens that are specific for local conditions are not currently available for many regions including singapore. Thus, in this paper, with a design hyetograph of 3-month average rainfall intensities of singapore, hydrologic design charts, especially, design charts on overflow volume (as a % of total runoff volume) of soak-away rain gardens are established for a range of potential hydrologic conditions by developing a mathematical model based on Richard’s equation using COMSOL Multiphysics, a finite element analysis and solver software package for various physics and engineering applications. These easy-to-use look-up hydrologic design charts will be of great utility for local managers in the design of soak-away rain gardens.

摘要：Sensitivity loop shaping using add-on peak filters is a simple and effective method to reject narrow-band disturbances in hard disk drive （HDD） servo systems. The parallel peak filter is introduced to provide high-gain magnitude in the concerned frequency range of open-loop transfer function. Different from almost all the known peak filters that possess second-order structures, we explore in this paper bow high-order peak filters can be designed to improve the loop shaping performance. The main idea is to replace some of the constant coefficients of common second-order peak filter by frequency-related transfer functions, and then differential evolution （DE） algorithm is adopted to perform optimal design. We creatively introduce chromosome coding and fitness function design, which are original and the key steps that lead to the success of DE applications in control system design. In other words, DE is modified to achieve a novel design for hard disk drive control. Owing to the remarkable searching ability of DE, the expected shape of sensitivity function can be achieved by incorporating the resultant high-order peak filter in parallel with baseline feedback controller. As a result, a seventh-order peak filter is designed to compensate for contact-induced vibration in a high-density HDD servo system, where the benefits of high-order filter are clearly demonstrated.

摘要：Higher-order topological phases(HOTPs) are systems with topologically protected in-gap boundary states localized at their ed à nT-dimensional boundaries, with d the system dimension and n the order of the topology. This work proposes a dynamics-based characterization of one large class of Z-type HOTPs without specifically relying on any crystalline symmetry considerations. The key element of our innovative approach is to connect quantum quench dynamics with nested configurations of the socalled band inversion surfaces(BISs) of momentum-space Hamiltonians as a sum of operators from the Clifford algebra(a condition that can be partially relaxed), thereby making it possible to dynamically detect each and every order of topology on an equal footing. Given that experiments on synthetic topological matter can directly measure the winding of certain pseudospin texture to determine topological features of BISs, the topological invariants defined through nested BISs are all within reach of ongoing experiments. Further, the necessity of having nested BISs in defining higher-order topology offers a unique perspective to investigate and engineer higher-order topological phase transitions.
