摘要：The accurate prediction of the typhoon （hurricane） induced extreme sea environments is very important for the coastal structure design in areas influenced by typhoon （hurricane）. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina brought a severe catastrophe in New Orleans by combined effects of hurricane induced extreme sea environments and upper flood of the Mississippi River. Like the New Orleans City, Shanghai is located at the estuarine area of the Changjiang River and the combined effect of typhoon induced extreme sea en- vironments, flood peak runoff from the Changjiang River coupled with the spring tide is the dominate factor for disaster prevention design criteria. The Poisson-nested logistic trivariate compound extreme value distribution （PNLTCEYD） is a new type of joint probability model which is proposed by compounding a discrete distribution （typhoon occurring frequency） into a continuous multivariate joint distribution （ typhoon induced extreme events）. The new model gives more reasonable predicted results for New Orleans and Shanghai disaster prevention design criteria.

摘要：Considering the dependent relationship among wave height,wind speed,and current velocity,we construct novel trivariate joint probability distributions via Archimedean copula *** 30-year data of wave height,wind speed,and current velocity in the Bohai Sea are hindcast and sampled for case *** kinds of distributions,namely,Gumbel distribution,lognormal distribution,Weibull distribution,and Pearson Type III distribution,are candidate models for marginal distributions of wave height,wind speed,and current *** Pearson Type III distribution is selected as the optimal *** and trivariate probability distributions of these environmental conditions are established based on four bivariate and trivariate Archimedean copulas,namely,Clayton,Frank,Gumbel-Hougaard,and Ali-Mikhail-Haq *** joint probability models can maximize marginal information and the dependence among the three *** design return values of these three variables can be obtained by three methods:univariate probability,conditional probability,and joint *** joint return periods of different load combinations are estimated by the proposed *** responses(including base shear,overturning moment,and deck displacement) are further *** the same return period,the design values of wave height,wind speed,and current velocity obtained by the conditional and joint probability models are much smaller than those by univariate *** the dependence among variables,the multivariate probability distributions provide close design parameters to actual sea state for ocean platform design.

摘要：The green alga Tetraselmis subcordiformis has been widely used as a quality live food for aquaculture species, and also has been studied as a model organism for the photo-biological production of hydrogen. We attempted to quantify the relationship between T. subcordiformis specific growth rate （SGR） and three important environmental factors （temperature, salinity, and pH） using the central composite design and response surface method under laboratory conditions. The results showed that the linear effects of temperature and salinity were significant （P〈0.05）, and they were equally important in impacting T. subcordiformis specific growth; the linear effect of pH was not significant （P〉0.05）; the interactive effect of temperature and pH was significant （P〈0.05）, whereas the temperature ~ salinity and salinity x pH interactions were not significant （P〉0.05）; all of the quadratic effects of the three factors were significant （P〈0.05）. A model equation for specific growth rate with the three factors was established, with the unadjusted and predictive R2 as high as 0.990 and 0.921, respectively, suggesting that the model was a very good fit and that it could be used to predict SGR. Through optimizing the reliable model, an optimal 3-factor combination of 25~C/35 of salinity/pH 7.9 was obtained, at which the maximum specific growth rate （0.65） was recorded, with a desirability value of 93.8%. These experimental results could serve as guidelines for increasing T. subcordiformis production efficiency.

摘要：A typhoon leading is an important natural disaster to many disasters to China. A giant wave caused by it has brought large threat for an offshore project. Based on the maximum entropy principle,one new model which has 4 undetermined parameters is constructed,which is called the discrete maximum entropy probabilistic model. In practical applications,the design wave height is considered as soon as possible in a typhoon affected sea areas,the result fits the observed data well. Further more this model does not have the priority compared with other distributions as Poisson distribution. The model provides a theoretical basis for the engineering design more reasonable when considering typhoon factors comprehensively.

摘要：In this study, the effects of length-width ratio and diversion trench of the spacer on the fluid flow behavior in an electrodialyzer have been investigated through CFD simulation method. The relevant information, including the pressure drop, velocity vector distribution and shear stress distribution, demonstrates the importance of optimized design of the spacer in an electrodialysis process. The results show width of the diversion trench has a great effect on the fluid flow compared with length. Increase of the diversion trench width could strength the fluid flow, but also increase the pressure drop. Secondly, the dead zone of the fluid flow decreases with increase of length-width ratio of the spacer, but the pressure drop increases with the increase of length-width ratio of the spacer. So the appropriate length-width ratio of the space should be moderate.

摘要：In the ship hull optimization design based on simulation-based design(SBD) technology, low precision of the approximate model leads to an uncertainty form of optimization model. In order to enable the approximate model with finite precision to maximize the effectiveness, uncertainty optimization method is introduced *** resistance coefficient approximation model, built by back propagation(BP) neural network, is represented as a form of interval. Afterwards, a minimum resistance optimization model is established with the design space constituted by principal dimensions and ship form coefficients. Double-level nested optimization architecture is proposed: for outer layer, improved particle swarm optimization(IPSO) algorithm with learning factor improvement strategy is used to generate design variables, and for inner layer, modified very fast simulated annealing(MVFSA) algorithm is used to solve the objective function interval with uncertainty region. Cases calculation proves the effectiveness and superiority of uncertainty optimization method for ship hull SBD optimization design,thus providing a good way for finding optimal designs.

摘要：In this paper, we propose a new method to estimate the wave height of a specifi c return period based on the Hurst rule and a self-affi ne fractal formula. A detailed description of our proposed model is presented in this paper. We use the proposed model to analyze wave height data recorded along the coast of Chaolian Island from 1963 to 1989. The results show that the performance of our proposed model in estimating design wave heights is superior to traditional models.

摘要：Successive approximate design of the optimal tracking controller for linear systems with time-delay is developed. By applying the successive approximation theory of differential equations, the two-point boundary value (TPBV) problem with both time-delay and time-advance terms derived from the original optimal tracking control (OTC) problem is transformed into a sequence of linear TPBV prob- lems without delay and advance terms. The solution sequence of the linear TPBV problems uniformly converges to the solution of the original OTC problem The obtained OTC law consists of analytic state feedback terms and a compensation term which is the limit of the adjoint vector sequence. The com- pensation term can be obtained from an iteration formula of adjoint vectors. By using a finite term of the adjoint vector sequence, a suboptimal tracking control law is revealed. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the algorithm.

摘要：A study of coccolith assemblages from a box core from the central South Yellow Sea（SYS） was performed revealing fluctuations on their relative abundance（%） that can be related to climatic and hydrographic changes over the last 230 years（1780–2011）. Total coccolith abundances ranged from 7.0 to 55.1×10^6 coccoliths·g^-1sediment. Although the abundance of different species varied widely throughout the core, seven taxa dominated the assemblage. Among these species, Gephyrocapsa oceanica was the most dominant species, and it showed an average percentage of 50.1%. The pattern of G. oceanica（eutrophic species） was opposite to that of the combined percentage of Braarudosphaera bigelowii and Umbilicosphaera sibogae（both oligotrophic species）, indicating that in the Yellow Sea（YS）, the distribution pattern of G. oceanica might be characteristic of nutrient *** patterns between G. oceanica and the Siberian High were observed on an inter-decadal time scale,indicating that the East Asian Winter Monsoon（EAWM） may be an important driver of ecological changes in the YS. When the EAWM prevails, both the Yellow Sea Coastal Current（YSCC） and Yellow Sea Warm Current（YSWC）strengthen, and the increasing nutrient availability and warmer water brought by the strengthened YSWC favor eutrophic and warm-water coccolithophore species, such as G. oceanica. This likely mechanism demonstrates that coccolith assemblages can be used as benign and reliable proxy for climate change and surface oceanography.
