摘要：A method for optimizing automotive doors under multiple criteria involving the side impact, stiffness, natural frequency, and structure weight is presented. Metamodeling technique is employed to construct approximations to replace the high computational simulation models. The approximating functions for stiffness and natural frequency are constructed using Taylor series approximation. Three popular approximation techniques,*** response surface (PRS), stepwise regression (SR), and Kriging are studied on their accuracy in the construction of side impact functions. Uniform design is employed to sample the design space of the door impact analysis. The optimization problem is solved by a multi-objective genetic algorithm. It is found that SR technique is superior to PRS and Kriging techniques in terms of accuracy in this study. The numerical results demonstrate that the method successfully generates a well-spread Pareto optimal set. From this Pareto optimal set, decision makers can select the most suitable design according to the vehicle program and its application.

摘要：The optimal process conditions of an injection molded polypropylenes dustpan were investigated to improve the part quality. A fractional factorial experiment was employed to screen the significant factors and main combinations among the numerous process parameters. And, with the consideration of interaction effects, an L27 orthogonal array based on the Taguchi method was conducted to determine the optimal process conditions. The results indicate that the melt temperature has the most remarkable influence on both the volume shrinkage and sink marks criterion weights. But the optimal process conditions and the order of influence are different for the two criterion weights.

摘要：Structural bionic design lacks mature and scientific theories, and the excellent structural characteristics of natural organisms sometimes cannot be transferred into engineering structures effectively. Aiming at overcoming the existing problems, this paper summarizes three related theories: similarity theory, fuzzy evaluation theory and optimization theory. Based on the related theories, a method of structural bionic design is introduced, which includes four steps: selecting the most useful structural characteristic of natural organism; analyzing the structural characteristic finally chosen for engineering problem; completing the structural bionic design for engineering structure; and verifying the structural bionic design. Similarity theory and fuzzy evaluation theory are employed to achieve Step 1. In Step 2 and Step 3, optimization theory is employed to analyze the parameters of structures. Together with the thoughts of simplification and grouping, optimization theory can reveal the relationship between organism structure and engineering structure, providing a way to structural bionic design. A general evaluation criterion is proposed in Step 4, which is feasible to evaluate the performance of different structures. Finally, based on the method, a structural bionic design of thin-walled cylindrical shell is introduced.

摘要：In recent years, computer assisted surgery （CAS） systems become more and more common in clinical practices, but few specific design criteria have been proposed for human-computer interface （HCI） in GAS systems. This paper tried to give universal criteria of HCI design for CAS systems through introduction of demonstration application, which is total knee replacement （TKR） with a nonimage-based navigation system. A typical computer assisted process can be divided into four phases： the preoperative planning phase, the intraoperative registration phase, the intraoperative navigation phase and finally the postoperative assessment phase. The interface design for four steps is described respectively in the demonstration application. These criteria this paper summarized can be useful to software developers to achieve reliable and effective interfaces for new CAS systems more easily.

摘要：The design methods of anode and cathode are proposed for precision profile grinding. Based on the electrolytic machining theory, electrolytic equilibrium condition and Faraday′s law of electrolysis are applied to establishing the mathematical model of profile diamond dressing process- es. A finite element method (FEM) program is developed to solve the inverse boundary problem of Laplace′s equation. Desired anode contour or cathode shape is determined by computing the distribution of electric potential layer by layer. Electrolytic machining experiment is carried out to verify the simulated anode shape. The research result shows that shape deviation between designed cathode and profile wheel increases with the value of angle between feed rate and the normal to anode surface. The shape of simulated anode is consistent with the contour of metal-bonded diamond profile wheel for a given cathode. Based on the anode contour, cathode shape can also be designed accurately.

摘要：A simplified calculation of the specimen’s stress-strain curve is generally conducted using the two-wave method by the split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB),which aligns the onset of the transmitted and reflected ***,this approach neglects the travel time of elastic waves within the *** the travel time of elastic waves,this study quantitatively investigates the error characteristics and patterns of stress,strain,and strain rate in the specimen under different conditions using the theoretical two-wave method,and compares the results with those obtained using the onset-aligned twowave *** study reveals that the stress-time curves derived from the theoretical two-wave method are lower than the actual stress curves,whereas those obtained from the onset-aligned two-wave method are consistently higher than the actual stress curves,with the stress deviation approximating a constant value when the dimensionless time exceeds *** starting point of the stress-strain curves obtained by the theoretical two-wave method is not zero but a point on the strain axis,whereas the onset-aligned two-wave method always starts at ***,the slopes of the stress-strain curves obtained by both methods differ from the actual Young’s modulus of the material,and functional relationships between the slopes and the actual Young’s modulus are *** research offers theoretical guidance for the refined design of SHPB experiments and the accurate processing of data.

摘要：A new nonholonomic transmission mechanism is proposed based on thenonholonomic theory and nonlinear control principle, and combined with conditions of thenonholonomic motion planning and control, that is researched to compose method of the motiontransfer chain from this transmission mechanism, on which a new nonholonomic manipulator isdesigned. This nonholonomic manipulator is a controllable multi-joint manipulator that actuated onlyby two-servo electromotor. Its motion expresses the characteristic of nonholonomy constraint andnonlinear, and that also satisfies the chained form convertibility. And then, using the nonlinearcontrol principle of chained system, motion characteristic of the nonholonomic manipulator isapplied. From simulation verification and analysis, the usefulness of the theoretical design andcontrol strategies is shown, and that is important in design and research of handiness robot andmulti-finger robot hand.
