摘要：Since most ad hoc mobile devices today operate on batteries,the power consumption becomes an important *** paper proposes a cross-layer design of energy-aware ad hoc on-demand distance vector(CEAODV) routing protocol which adopts cross-layer mechanism and energy-aware metric to improve AODV routing protocol to reduce the energy consumption and then prolong the life of the whole *** CEAODV,the link layer and the routing layer work together to choose the optimized transmission power for nodes and the route for *** link layer provides the energy consumption information for the routing layer and the routing layer chooses route accordingly and conversely controls the link layer to adjust the transmission *** simulation result shows that CEAODV can outperform AODV to save more *** can reduce the consumed energy by about 8%over traditional energy-aware *** the performance is better when the traffic load is higher in the network.

摘要：Named entity recognition is a fundamental task in biomedical data mining. In this letter, a named entity recognition system based on CRFs （Conditional Random Fields） for biomedical texts is presented. The system makes extensive use of a diverse set of features, including local features, full text features and external resource features. All features incorporated in this system are described in detail, and the impacts of different feature sets on the performance of the system are evaluated. In order to improve the performance of system, post-processing modules are exploited to deal with the abbreviation phenomena, cascaded named entity and boundary errors identification. Evaluation on this system proved that the feature selection has important impact on the system performance, and the post-processing explored has an important contribution on system performance to achieve better resuits.

摘要：This paper discusses design and implementation method of Business Application Framework based on software patterns, and then presents MVC pattern of architecture and the method of dynamical update promulgation for Business Application Framework. We discuss adaptation of Abstract Factory for the kernel functionality of Business Application Framework, such as data creation, manipulation, composition, etc. It also presents class model and its class structure of Abstract Factory pattern. Finally, we briefly discuss the update, modification, and reconstruction method of Business Application Framework.

摘要：To the issues of low efficiency of conflict resolution method in collaborative design, we proposed a method, which is conflict resolution about collaborative design based on grid *** uses the grid services from the current design points, uses the method of retrospective thinking to find the conflict point by detecting, and then uses the corresponding method to resolve the conflict point according to the conflict characteristic, after that carried on the conflict detection again. If there is still the conflict, resolve the conflict point again, until the conflict no longer exists. This method combines various traditional resolution methods, makes full use of the grid idle high-performance large-scale sharing resources. With this method the collaborative design conflict resolution cost reduced and the conflict resolution efficiency was raised. And then the problem which is not handled completely was then solved, so that the conflict resolution Quality was guaranteed.

摘要：A novel Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) based Hidden Markov Module (HMM) for face recognition is presented in this letter. To improve the accuracy of HMM based face recognition algorithm, DWT is used to replace Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) for observation sequence ex- traction. Extensive experiments are conducted on two public databases and the results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy significantly, especially when the face database is large and only few training images are available.

摘要：This paper describes an evolutionary art system, which explores the potential ability of evolutionary computation in Batik design. We investigate the use of Interactive Evolutionary Algorithm （IEA） in our system, with the goal of enhancing user＇s creativity to generate innovative Batik-like patterns. We focus mainly on two crucial aspects of the system. First, a new representation is proposed to capture the features in Batik and create innovative patterns through evolutionary processes. Second, an out-breeding mechanism is applied to our system, in order to sustain user＇s interest for a longer period. Our system can search a much larger design space than other systems and can avoid being trapped in a local optimum. We describe the system in detail and the methodology we have adopted in the system. ＂Our experimental results have shown that our newly developed system is effective and has great potentials in evolving novel Batik design.

摘要：It was shown that active queue management schemes implemented in the routers of communication networks sup-porting transmission control protocol (TCP) flows can be modelled as a feedback control system. In this paper based on Lyapunov function we developed an optimal controller to improve active queue management (AQM) router’s stability and response time, which are often in conflict with each other in system performance. Ns-2 simulations showed that optimal controller outperforms PI controller significantly.
