摘要：A novel Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) based Hidden Markov Module (HMM) for face recognition is presented in this letter. To improve the accuracy of HMM based face recognition algorithm, DWT is used to replace Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) for observation sequence ex- traction. Extensive experiments are conducted on two public databases and the results show that the proposed method can improve the accuracy significantly, especially when the face database is large and only few training images are available.

摘要：Due to aggressive technology scaling, radiation-induced soft errors have become a serious reliability concern in VLSI chip design. This paper presents a novel radiation hardened by design latch with high single-eventupset （SEU） immunity. The proposed latch can effectively mitigate SEU by internal dual interlocked scheme. The propagation delay, power dissipation and power delay product of the presented latch are evaluated by detailed SPICE simulations. Compared with previous SEU-hardening solutions such as TMR-Latch, the presented latch is more area efficient, delay and power efficient. Fault injection simulations also demonstrate the robustness of the presented latch even under high energy particle strikes.

摘要：This paper describes an evolutionary art system, which explores the potential ability of evolutionary computation in Batik design. We investigate the use of Interactive Evolutionary Algorithm （IEA） in our system, with the goal of enhancing user＇s creativity to generate innovative Batik-like patterns. We focus mainly on two crucial aspects of the system. First, a new representation is proposed to capture the features in Batik and create innovative patterns through evolutionary processes. Second, an out-breeding mechanism is applied to our system, in order to sustain user＇s interest for a longer period. Our system can search a much larger design space than other systems and can avoid being trapped in a local optimum. We describe the system in detail and the methodology we have adopted in the system. ＂Our experimental results have shown that our newly developed system is effective and has great potentials in evolving novel Batik design.

摘要：This paper deals with the problem of designing a robust discrete output-feedback based repetitive-control system for a class of linear plants with periodic uncertainties. The periodicity of the repetitive-control system is exploited to establish a two-dimensional （2D） model that converts the design problem into a robust stabilization problem for a discrete 2D system. By employing Lyapunov stability theory and the singular-value decomposition of the output matrix, a linear-matrix-inequality （LMI） based stability condition is derived. The condition can be used directly to design the gains of the repetitive controller. Two tuning parameters in the LMI enable the preferential adjustment of control and learning. A numerical example illustrates the design procedure and demonstrates the validity of the method.

摘要：Efficiency and scalability are still the bottleneck for secure multi-party computation geometry （SMCG）. In this work a secure planar convex hull （SPCH） protocol for large-scaled point sets in semi-honest model has been proposed efficiently to solve the above problems. Firstly, a novel priva- cy-preserving point-inclusion （PPPI） protocol is designed based on the classic homomorphic encryp- tion and secure cross product protocol, and it is demonstrated that the complexity of PPPI protocol is independent of the vertex size of the input convex hull. And then on the basis of the novel PPPI pro- tocol, an effective SPCH protocol is presented. Analysis shows that this SPCH protocol has a good performance for large-scaled point sets compared with previous solutions. Moreover, analysis finds that the complexity of our SPCH protocol relies on the size of the points on the outermost layer of the input point sets only.

摘要：Not So Cooperative Caching(NSCC) considers a network comprised of selfish nodes; each is with caching capability and an objective of reducing its own access cost by fetching data from its local cache or from neighboring caches. These nodes would cooperate in caching and share cached content if and only if they each benefit. The challenges are to determine what objects to cache at each node and to implement the system in the context of information Centric Networking(ICN). This work includes both a solution for the NSCC problem and a design and implementation of an NSCC system in Named Data Networking(NDN), a large effort that exemplifies ICN. Our design applies NDN synchronization protocol to facilitate the information exchange among nodes, adopts group key encryption to control data access within the NSCC group, and offers an error checker to detect error events in the system. Our approach is validated by deploying the system we developed on Planet Lab.

摘要：There is a sharp decline in the network performance when the wireless link fails as a data path in the Wireless Network-on-Chip(WiNoC).To counteract this problem,we propose a fault-tolerance mechanism for the efficient retransmission of data in the *** an error is detected in the data transmission process,this mechanism works to feed back the fault information to the source node in real time via fault signal *** the source node,the highest transmission priority is assigned to the backup retransmitted data,and the corresponding direct link is positioned to enable the data packet for its efficient retransmission to the destination node,thereby ensuring efficiency in fault ***,we have improved the receiving port of the wireless router,added the corresponding redundant buffers and mux,and dynamically selected the retransmitted non-faulty data packets to be written to the local router in order to avoid the disorderly retransmission of the data *** evaluation results of this paper demonstrate that compared with the methods which are under different fault conditions,this fault-tolerant method drastically improves the data throughput rate,reduces the delay,effectively guarantees the reliability of the network,and improves the system performance.
