摘要：We propose an inverse method to determine the material parameters of a transparent device without any knowledge of the corresponding transformation function. The required parameters are independently obtained and expressed as functions of the introduced generator. Moreover, to remove the inhomogeneity and anisotropy of material parameters, a layered transparent device composed of only homogeneous and isotropic materials is presented based on the effective medium theory. The feasibility of using the layered device in antenna protection is also investigated. Full-wave simulation is carried out for verification. This work paves a new way toward designing metamaterial devices without specifying the underlying coordinate transformation, and has great guiding significance for the practical fabrication of transparent devices.

摘要：A novel text independent speaker identification system is proposed. In the proposed system, the 12-order perceptual linear predictive cepstrum and their delta coefficients in the span of five frames are extracted from the segmented speech based on the method of pitch synchronous analysis. The Fisher ratios of the original coefficients then be calculated, and the coefficients whose Fisher ratios are bigger are selected to form the 13-dimensional feature vectors of speaker. The Gaussian mixture model is used to model the speakers. The experimental results show that the identification accuracy of the proposed system is obviously better than that of the systems based on other conventional coefficients like the linear predictive cepstral coefficients and the Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients.

摘要：By using a plane wave expansion method, some important cobweb cladding structure are analysed. Taking a dielectric parameters of designing the hollow-core fibre with material PMMA, for example, the tolerance of the parameters is discussed. The results show that the parameters of the structure possess oneself of a regularity and limit, and have a larger tolerance for the structural parameters in fabrication.

摘要：This paper describes an evolutionary art system, which explores the potential ability of evolutionary computation in Batik design. We investigate the use of Interactive Evolutionary Algorithm （IEA） in our system, with the goal of enhancing user＇s creativity to generate innovative Batik-like patterns. We focus mainly on two crucial aspects of the system. First, a new representation is proposed to capture the features in Batik and create innovative patterns through evolutionary processes. Second, an out-breeding mechanism is applied to our system, in order to sustain user＇s interest for a longer period. Our system can search a much larger design space than other systems and can avoid being trapped in a local optimum. We describe the system in detail and the methodology we have adopted in the system. ＂Our experimental results have shown that our newly developed system is effective and has great potentials in evolving novel Batik design.

摘要：In order to solve the decoupling control problem of multivariable system with time delays,a new decoupling Smith control method for multivariable system with time delays was proposed. Firstly,the decoupler based on the adjoint matrix of the multivariable system model with time delays was introduced,and the decoupled models were reduced to first-order plus time delay models by analyzing the amplitude-frequency and phase-frequency characteristics. Secondly,according to the closed-loop characteristic equation of Smith predictor structure,proportion integration (PI) controllers were designed following the principle of pole assignment for Butterworth filter. Finally,using small-gain theorem and Nyquist stability criterion,sufficient and necessary conditions for robust stability were analyzed with multiplicative uncertainties,which could be encountered frequently in practice. The result shows that the method proposed has superiority for response speed and load disturbance rejection performance.

摘要：With more scaling, the speed of than 40 years Moore CMOS transistors is around 100 GHz. Such fact makes it possible to realize mm-wave circuits in CMOS. However, with the target of achieving broadband and power-efficient operation, 60 GHz CMOS RF transceiver faces severe challenges. After reviewing the technology issues, regarding the 60 GHz applications, this paper discusses design challenges both from the system and the building block levels, and also presents some simulated or measured circuits results.

摘要：An abstraction and an investigation to the worth of dendritic cells (DCs) ability to collect, process and present antigens are presented. Computationally, this ability is shown to provide a feature reduction mechanism that could be used to reduce the complexity of a search space, a mechanism for development of highly specialized detector sets as well as a selective mechanism used in directing subsets of detectors to be activated when certain danger signals are present. It is shown that DCs, primed by different danger signals, provide a basis for different anomaly detection pathways. Different antigen-peptides are developed based on different danger signals present, and these peptides are presented to different adaptive layer detectors that correspond to the given danger signal. Experiments are then undertaken that compare current approaches, where a full antigen structure and the whole repertoire of detectors are used, with the proposed approach. Experiment results indicate that such an approach is feasible and can help reduce the complexity of the problem by significant levels. It also improves the efficiency of the system, given that only a subset of detectors are involved during the detection process. Having several different sets of detectors increases the robustness of the resulting system. Detectors developed based on peptides are also highly discriminative, which reduces the false positives rates, making the approach feasible for a real time environment.
