摘要：We report the design of benzocyclobutene microring resonator of symmetric coupling made of a readily available polymer with a higher isolation of 43.8 dB, a finesse of 34, and a Q value of 1.5×105. The FDTD method predicts a drop efficiency of almost 80% for a gap of 0.55μm.

摘要：We present a novel and simple design of an air-slot mode-gap photonic crystal(PC) nanocavity by introducing a linear air slot to the center of a line-defect waveguide in a two dimensional triangular-lattice silicon PC slab.A high quality factor(Q factor) of 8.42*105 and an ultrasmall mode volume of 0.998 cubic wavelength are achieved in an optimized air-slot nanocavity which is a suitable choice for the strong matter-field interaction in free *** high Q cavities with ultrasmall mode volume are important for applications such as quantum computation and nonlinear optics.

摘要：To describe the design approaches of IND-CCA2 （adaptive chosen ciphertext attack） secure public key encryption schemes systematically, the gaps between different kinds of intractable problems and IND-CCA2 security are studied. This paper points out that the construction of IND-CCA2 secure schemes is essentially to bridge these gaps. These gaps are categorized, analyzed and measured. Finally the methods to bridge these gaps are described. This explains the existing design approaches and gives an intuition about the difficulty of designing IND-CCA2 secure public key encryption schemes based on different types of assumptions.

摘要：Active queue management （AQM） can maintain smaller queuing delay and higher throughput by purposefully dropping packets at intermediate nodes. Most of the existing AQM schemes follow the probability dropping mechanism originating from random early detection （RED）. This paper develops a novel packet dropping mechanism for AQM through designing an ONOFF controller applying the variable structure control theory. Because the binary ONOFF controller can considerably simplify the manipulation on the AQM router, it is helpful for implementing the high performance router. The design principles of ONOFF controller are discussed in detail. The guidelines towards parameter settings are presented. The performance is extensively evaluated and compared with other well-known controllers through simulations and theoretical analysis. The results demonstrate that the ONOFF controller is responsive and robust against external disturbances, and is insensitive to variances of the system parameters. Therefore, it is very suitable for the time- varying network system, and at the same time, it can also keep the instantaneous queue length at a desired level with rather small oscillations, which is conducive to achieving the technical objectives of AQM.

摘要：The slow light propagation in a line waveguide in the two-dimensional triangular photonic crystal has been numerically studied, based on which a wideband photonic crystal waveguide with low group-velocity and low dispersion is proposed. The numerical simulation analysis shows that it is possible to maximize the group index and minimize the group-velocity dispersion in wide bandwidth by increasing the radius of the basic air hole and changing the position of the first two rows of air holes in photonic crystal waveguides. Such a photonic crystal waveguide exhibits low group velocity and low group-velocity dispersion over a broad wavelength range. A larger group index-bandwidth product is achieved in this type of waveguide structure. The numerically computed results present the normalized bandwidth as 0.32%, 0.48% and 0.642% corresponding to the group index of 85, 58 and 45, respectively.

摘要：An investigation of the properties ofa LiNbO3 photoelastic waveguide via the acceleration-induced effect is presented. A novel three-component hybrid-integrated optical accelerometer based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a LiNbO3 photoelastic waveguide has been designed, which is capable of detecting seismic acceleration in high-accuracy seismic exploration. The Mach-Zehnder interferometer was successfully fabricated and a lighting test used to check its quality. The frequency response characteristic of the accelerometer was measured2 The accelerometer with a resonant frequency of 3549 Hz was demonstrated to show good linear frequency responding characteristics in the range of 100-3000 Hz. The accelerometer also shows good stability and consistency. Experimental results indicate that the outputs of the on- and cross-axis are 147 and 21.3 mV, respectively.

摘要：Java technology is spreading rapidly all over the world in recent years. It is a popular application development language for its well-encapsulation, platform-independent and high security. There are great amounts of Java games and other gadgets on mobile platforms, as well as on set-up-box systems. As Java applications become more sophisticated, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) mid-dle-wares in embedded systems are not satisfying, Java-specific chips extend in the market. All existing Java-based system software or Operating System (OS) are used on JVM, they cannot be used on Java processors. It is important to develop a pure Java system software or OS so that embedded systems using Java processors will have great performance in Java applications. This paper presents a set of system software designed for a Java-specified processor VP6K, which is also a System-on-Chip (SoC). This system software includes real-time multitask dispatching, file management, device management, hardware drivers, and infrastructural Application Programming Interface (APIs). According to ex-perimental results, the system software provides interfaces for Java programs to fully handle CPU resource, so that all applications can be executed properly and efficiently. VP6K embedded platform shows its good performance for Java applications when the system software is implemented.

摘要：This paper discusses the problem of design and optimization of low-energy transfer orbit with multi-body environment. A new integrative method is proposed to effectively solve the problem, in which the parameterized patched manifolds in CR3BP(circular restricted three-body problems), the shape-based method with multi-body environment, the homotopic method with multi-body environment, and the low-thrust capturing and descending algorithm with multi-body environment are all included. Firstly, the parameters describing the patched manifolds in CR3 BP are optimized until the least total absolute velocity increment has been got, including the employment of the shape-based method with multi-body environment. Secondly, the low-thrust control laws of the transfer orbit are optimized employing the homotopic method with multi-body environment that transfers the fuel optimization problem to an easier energy optimization problem. Thirdly, the low-thrust descending orbit around Mars is computed using the laws proposed in this paper. As a typical example, the Earth-Mars transfer orbit design is discussed. The results showed that the parameters describing the patched manifolds could be optimized by the DE(differential evolution) algorithm effectively; the homotopic method with multi-body environment could get the optimal value that meets the first order optimality conditions; and the low-thrust descending orbit could effectively be captured by Mars and finally become a circular parking orbit around it by the hypothesis control laws proposed in this paper. It shows that the final fuel cost is much less than the optimal transfer in the patched two-body problems. In conclusion, the method proposed in this paper could effectively solve the low-energy low-thrust optimal control problem in multi-body environment for the future deep space explorations.

摘要：This study focused on differences in vehicle-to-vehicle radio channel character- istics in the same region but different traffic density and speeds at 5.9 GHz （congestion and non-congestion）. The continuous measurement campaign was conducted on a city expressway through the complex dense urban area in Wu- hart, China. Small-scale channel characteris- tics including power delay profile, amplitude fading distribution, K-factor, delay spread and Doppler shift were obtained, respectively. Spe- cifically, the cumulative distribution function of root mean square delay spreads and root mean square Doppler spreads in the non-con- gested scenario and congested scenario were all fitted well with Lognormal distribution. We also found out that different intensity of traffic and speed of vehicles have little effect on root mean square delay spreads, but have a big im- pact on root mean square Doppler spreads and level crossing rate. According to estimation outcomes, the V2V channel characteristics for urban areas in Chinese big city were differ- ent from the previous measured results under similar scenarios in Europe. Delay spread and level crossing rate in this study can provide significant references to design the wireless communication system for vehicle-to-vehicle channel.
