摘要：As one of the most common medical diagnosis methods, urinalysis is a highly demanded technique for screening tests or daily monitoring of various diseases. With the rapid development of POC(point-of-care) systems, a convenient house-using urinalysis device is widely needed. However, considering the difference of onboard systems and multiple test indicators in urinalysis, the design of such an intelligent device is still challenging. In this paper, a smartphone-based portable urinalysis system has been developed and applied for the colorimetric analysis of routine urine examination indices using an Android app. By integrating the test paper sensor in the portable device for urinalysis,our system significantly improves the instability of conventional dipstick-based manual colorimetry, and the smartphone application used for color discrimination enhances the accuracy of the visual assessment of sample strips. Using a simple operation approach that takes ~ 2 min per test, our system can be applied as rapid urinalysis for routine check-ups.

摘要：The Made in China 2025 initiative will require full automation in all sectors, from customers to production. This will result in great challenges to manufacturing systems in all sectors. In the future of manufacturing, all devices and systems should have sensing and basic intelligence capabilities for control and adaptation. In this study, after discussing multiscale dynamics of the modern manufacturing system, a five-layer functional structure is proposed for uncertainties processing. Multiscale dynamics include： multi-time scale, spacetime scale, and multi-level dynamics. Control action will differ at different scales, with more design being required at both fast and slow time scales. More quantitative action is required in low-level operations, while more qualitative action is needed regarding high-level supervision. Intelligent manufacturing systems should have the capabilities of flexibility, adaptability, and intelligence. These capabilities will require the control action to be distributed and integrated with different approaches, including smart sensing, optimal design, and intelligent learning. Finally, a typical jet dispensing system is taken as a real-world example for multiscale modeling and control.

摘要：In this paper, four point bending tests were carried out to investigate the flexural properties of PVA fiber reinforced engineered cementitious composites (ECC) with different mix proportions. Based on the test results, the flexural toughness was evaluated with the methods of JSCE and post crack strength method (PCSm), respectively. Several parameters such as amount of water reducer, amount of sand, and fiber volume fraction were investigated to study their effects on the flexural toughness of ECC beams. According to the test results, superfluous water reducing additions can cause adverse effect on strength of the matrix and interfacial bond between fibers and the matrix, resulting in decreased bending strength and flexural toughness of ECC beams. Increase of the fiber volume fraction can result in increased flexural strength and toughness due to enhanced bridging effect between fibers and cementitious matrix. High amount of sand can reduce ductility and strain hardening behavior of ECC material, and better flexural toughness can be achieved when the amount of sand by weight is set to 0.2 for current water/cement ratio.

摘要：Background： Recently, optogenetics based on genetically encoded photosensitive proteins has emerged as an innovative technology platform to revolutionize manipulation of cellular behavior through fight stimulation. It has enabled user defined control of various cellular behaviors with spatiotemporal precision and minimal invasiveness, creating unprecedented opportunities for biomedical applications. Results： This article reviews current advances in optogenetic networks designed for the treatment of human diseases. We highlight the advantages of these optogenetic networks, as well as emerging questions and future perspectives. Conclusions： Various optogenetic systems have been engineered to control biological processes at all levels using light and applied for numerous diseases, such as metabolic disorders, cancer, and immune diseases. Continued development of optogenetic modules will be necessary to precisely control of gene expression magnitude towards clinical medical practice in the context of real-world problems.
