摘要：Sensitivity loop shaping using add-on peak filters is a simple and effective method to reject narrow-band disturbances in hard disk drive （HDD） servo systems. The parallel peak filter is introduced to provide high-gain magnitude in the concerned frequency range of open-loop transfer function. Different from almost all the known peak filters that possess second-order structures, we explore in this paper bow high-order peak filters can be designed to improve the loop shaping performance. The main idea is to replace some of the constant coefficients of common second-order peak filter by frequency-related transfer functions, and then differential evolution （DE） algorithm is adopted to perform optimal design. We creatively introduce chromosome coding and fitness function design, which are original and the key steps that lead to the success of DE applications in control system design. In other words, DE is modified to achieve a novel design for hard disk drive control. Owing to the remarkable searching ability of DE, the expected shape of sensitivity function can be achieved by incorporating the resultant high-order peak filter in parallel with baseline feedback controller. As a result, a seventh-order peak filter is designed to compensate for contact-induced vibration in a high-density HDD servo system, where the benefits of high-order filter are clearly demonstrated.

摘要：In this paper,we propose and numerically investigate a novel circular lattice photonic crystal fiber(CL-PCF)using controllable GeO_(2) doped silica,suitable for modes carrying quantized orbital angular momentum(OAM).Large effective index separations between 25 supported vector modes(≥10^(-4))are confirmed over large bandwidth(C+L bands)leading to 48 OAM modes bearing *** simulations show that the modes in the proposed CLPCF have good features including low and flat dispersion(within 51.82 ps/km/nm),low confinement loss(lower than 0.002 d B/m),high effective mode area(88.5μm^(2))and low nonlinearity(1.22 W^(-1)·km^(-1)).These promising results show that the proposed CL-PCF could be an arguably candidate in fiber-based OAM multiplexing or other applications using OAM states.

摘要：The well-known fatigue crack growth （FCG） curves are two-parameter dependents. The range of the stress intensity factor AK and the load ratio R are the parameters normally used for describing these curves. For engineering purposes, the mathematical representation of these curves should be integrated between the initial and final crack sizes in order to obtain the safety factors for stresses and life. First of all, it is necessary to reduce the dependence of the FCG curves to only one parameter. AK is almost always selected and, in these conditions, considered as the crack driving force. Using experimental data from literature, the present paper shows how to perform multiple regression analyses using the traditional Walker approach and the more recent unified approach. The correlations so obtained are graphically analyzed in three dimensions. Numerical examples of crack growth analysis for cracks growing under nominal stresses of constant amplitude in smooth and notched geometries are performed, assuming an identical material component as that of the available experimental data. The resulting curves of crack size versus number of cycles （a vs. N） are then compared. The two models give approximately the same （a vs. N） curves in both geometries. Differences between the behaviors of the （a vs. N） curves in smooth and notched geometries are highlighted, and the reasons for these particular behaviors are discussed.

摘要：Text extraction is an important initial step in digitizing the historical documents. In this paper, we present a text extraction method for historical Tibetan document images based on block projections. The task of text extraction is considered as text area detection and location problem. The images are divided equally into blocks and the blocks are filtered by the information of the categories of connected components and corner point density. By analyzing the filtered blocks' projections, the approximate text areas can be located, and the text regions are extracted. Experiments on the dataset of historical Tibetan documents demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
